Ahead of Eurovision in Concert, Belarus’ Uzari & Maimuna found some “Time” to talk about their Eurovision 2015 journey, which started at the Belarusian national final. They were shocked to have defeated Alexander Rybak’s girl group MILKI: “Alexander is a great musician and he is so very talented…and for us to win our contest it was a surprise and we are very glad.” And what about his controverial comments afterwards? “He’s a great artist with a big soul.”

Maimuna has at times found herself in some sticky situations. For her music video and promotional photos, she was trapped in an hourglass covered in sand. “It was like a fairytale, a terrible nightmare,” she says. “It was cold and sand was everywhere — in my hair, in my nose, in mouth, but I had to do it for my love of Eurovision.” And what about the snake? “It was a real snake. I have a snake phobia. It was terrible for me to be there close with the snake. The cold and the snake — it was too much!”

They also explain that their song is dedciated to all the people who suffer from diseases and most especially cancer.

It’s great to know that the song is dedicated to all the people who suffer from diseases and most especially cancer. Time is like thunder.
