This is not a drill! Lenaâs two year musical hiatus is at an end. With her new album, âCrystal Skyâ, set to drop on 15 May, the Eurovision 2010 winner has just released the recordâs lead single â âTraffic Lightsâ. And once again our German gal proves why sheâs one of the contestâs greatest exports.

The track is a mid-tempo affair, sultry yet hopeful. Itâs got a cinematic feel, and would be completely at home nestled between Ellie Goulding and Sia on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie soundtrack. Meanwhile, the video is simple yet effective. We see Lena running through corridors, and dancing with a hunk in a smoky room. Thereâs even some kinetic sculptures (yes, just like the ones weâll see in Vienna). Itâs all very ethereal, and a huge progression from the quirky songstress we first met five years ago. But at the same time sheâs still very much the same Lena we know and love, the mockney accent hasnât vanished completely. If this is a taste of whatâs to come on the rest of the album, weâre very excited indeed!

Lena’s music is so contemporary! It is a shame she did not pursue a career outside Germany but still Germany is a big market. I believe that she should promote this time outside Germany (in Switzerland and Austria for instance).

@Mario, I have two tickets I won’t use, so you could come and grab them – Family Show Semi 1 and Jury Semi 2….. I booked them in the first launch and I was full of stress so I got the wrong tickets at first. Sadly they are not refundable, so I have to give them away.
@Mario, there are still plenty of tickets at oeticket.com. Just checked it, it looks like sponsors and delegates are returning their share of tickets they don’t need. And now I am wondering if I should trade my standing ticket for a cosy seat. Since my height might bother other guys in the arena and my back and my feet might feel sore.
@ Hey *Oostenrijk* buddy.. If you think so and you will find possibly a ticket 4 a seat on the 2nd semifinal DO it… But im afraid that the tickets 4 all the 3 live tv shows are SOLD OUT.. If you are able to still find a lucky ticket somehow {black market maybe..} then good 4 you.. But since it will be a semifinal & the duration of it will not be long enough compared to the much longer duration of the grand final it would not be that bad for you especially when you have a seated ticket… Read more »
@Oostenrijk I have stood at concerts before and learned that I would rather have a seat. Even with the seats people tend to stand, but at least you have an option to sit down. However, if you have seats at the other two nights then standing for one night wont be a problem. Plus you’ll be able to experience both and decide which you like.

I have a standing ticket for Semifinal 2, but I am scared of standing for such a long time. Do you think it would be wise to sell the ticket and get a seating ticket instead? Or is it still an amazing experience?
I also have seating tickets for Semi 1 and Grand Final.

Oh i really dislike Lena Mayer! What an abnoxious egomaniac despicable b**ch she is ! But this doesn’t mean that i dislike her songs though… I really liked especially *Stardust* & *Taken By A Stranger*.. I have put them on my mp3 player & have listened to them too many times.. Lena and Conchita’s albums are set to drop on May 15th. Which one will sell more? I think Lena because she has broken records in her country about singles, albums and sales etc. I want Conchita to be more successful tho.
