Yesterday Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw took the lead in OGAE’s International ESC Poll, leaving Italy’s Il Volo in second place. But today OGAE Poland, OGAE Norway, OGAE Lithuania and OGAE Serbia gave their points, adding more intrigue to the evolving picture.

OGAE Poland awarded their top score to Azerbaijan’s Elnur Huseynov, making it the first country to do so (so far). OGAE Norway awarded their 12 points to Italy, while Lithuania’s favourite song is the Norwegian one. Serbia voted for their Balkan brothers — or, more precisely, Slovenia’s Maraaya.

After the third set of votes, Sweden remains in the lead and Italy remains in second. Slovenia has moved up to fourth place, while Norway’s Mørland and Debrah Scarlett have pushed Australia out of the top five.

Current Top 5 (3 May 2015)

Sweden – 113 points

Italy – 110 points

Estonia – 90 points

Slovenia – 63 points

Norway – 55 points

Robyn: I think that the OGAE poll winner does influence a part of the public or jury vote to some extent… All this stuff does…Even these articles…

Can someone give @bavarson his/her medication?
Normally I don’t read his/her posts but I made the mistake this time & I’m worried. The gibberish is concerning.

@ Yes Robyn..
Conchita was only few points behind the 2nd runner up anyway..
Only Sweden with Sanna Nielsen was the clear hot favorite voted winner 4 the euro ogae fans..

Spain, Albania and Azerbaijan are likely to be in the top 5 too!

It’s a pretty solid top 5 I must say. I can’t help but think that Sweden and Italy – overhyped and overrated – won’t take the crown, like how Armenia and Sweden was early favourites but lost out to a mellow Netherlands and a jubilant Austria.

Perhaps Norway/Estonia and Australia might have a chance afterall.

Generally the song should be only a part of great plan for ESC. But in Italian entry the song is everything, and this is bad. I do not believe that it would be good in shortened version. But even more I don’t believe for good plan for staging to this song on stage in Vienna. Therefore, putting Italy as the favorite is bullshit.

Thus far, it’s been really interesting to follow this voting. Sweden, Italy, Estonia & Slovenia are the absolute favorites for the victory this year. But like some have said here, in Vienna things can be completely different than what poll & bookies say.

Time will tell who the winner really will be!

I’m a member of one of these OGAE clubs which gave their points, but I wasn’t able to vote because the official page wasn’t working for days.

Even ogae votes may be rigged, believe me, i have a reason to suspect. I doubt that this will reflect the actual score in Vienna, too. I hope for some shocking surprises at this ESC and some dark horses to take the race.

I hate Sweden and Italy’s songs so I hope it won’t be like that in the final hahaha… I’d love that the Top 3 would be Albania, Estonia, Spain…

Looks like it’s gonna be a two horse race until the end. The nordic betrayal carries on from last year lol.

OGAE Portugal already casted their votes. Italy is already ahead of Sweden. I’m still rooting for Estonia.

Ha ha.. A bad sign for Sweden? But I think Italy will win Ogae poll in the end. Just a feeling. And in the contest I think Italy will be cake for especially the juries. But we’ll see..

The last two OGAE polls have shown that of the Top 10, 6 end up there while there is 1 non qualifier. The other 3 songs flop drastically.

I’ve realized that in the recent OGAE-polls, three of the countries in the top five does well in the contest, while the other two usually flops. If that trend continues, out of these five in the top so far I think Slovenia and either Norway or Estonia will flop. I really don’t hope that’s the case though, since Slovenia is my personal favorite this year.

Although it gives an indication to this years Eurofan favourites, I doubt these will reflect the actual score in Vienna… its fun to follow though!
