So far Italy’s Il Volo has dominated the OGAE poll 2015, which sees members of OGAE fan clubs vote for their favourite songs. The Italian trio has outpaced Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw, who sat in second position yesterday just ahead of Estonia’s Elina Born & Stig Rästa. Will our leaders hold their spots after we reveal the points from OGAE Belgium, OGAE Portugal, OGAE Slovakia and OGAE Latvia?

OGAE Portugal has followed the general trend and awarded Italy its top marks.

But OGAE Slovakia and Latvia have both bypassed the Italians in favor of Sweden, who receives two more sets of douze points. Slovakia was kind enough to award the Czech Republic two points — their first of the contest.

OGAE Belgium sent 12 points to Norway, helping Mørland & Debrah Scarlett climb to fourth place ahead of Slovenia.

This is hinting at a nonqual for Latvia which is total bogus
I suspect that Serbia’s result is all wrong
But hey, good job CZ! At least one of my favorite underrated songs will make it to the OGAE-predicted final

Italy will fail this year I think…I have this feeling because in 2011 France sent an opern voice and in 2013 Croatia sent opern voices (I think it was opern voices)! Also Sweden did it in 2009, Romania in 2013 and in Finlands national selection this year Opera Skaala got the third place so I think Italy could really flop this year because Opern voices always flop at Eurovision! And all of my friends told me that Italys voices are good but together they sound horrible, they don’t like the song! I don’t find someone who will vote for it!… Read more »

Poland will score more points than Italy in final 23 May 2015.

Who says we’re jealous of Sweden? The thing is, the song is not to everyone’s taste, to me it’s very generic (like a million other songs I’ve heard on the radio) even if you take away his cartoon lightshow and it doesn’t connect with me in a way that some of the other songs do. It may be a favorite with the OGAE crowd and overhyped by the bookies, but the casual viewer voting at home may not feel the same way – the same goes with Italy. Favorites can still falter and underdogs can rise to the top as… Read more »

Darren, if you’re insulted by what I said then that’s entirely your responsibility. We’ll see who’s right come the 23rd – though it’s highly unlikely such a turgid song like Playing With Numbers will get there in the first place.

Of the top 5 I think Slovenia is the one who will do worse in the actual contest. Seeing the performance on Eurovision in concert I don’t have high hopes with the performance. And those headphones.. No. It’s boring, but the song is good. We all know the performance is very important as well. So I don’t think Sweden is going to be out of the top 5. Måns is great on stage. One of the best performers. Norway.. worried about her vocals.

Great to see Czech Republic get something – it is a top tier song!

Czech Republic deserves so much more. I hope they qualify. The problem is that in their semifinal there are two other duets which will “steal” votes from them. Plus, Czech Republic is underrated in Eurovision. Marta and Noid are extremely good vocalists and the song has a beautiful melody but Noid’s strong voice could put viewers off. We’ll see. It depends on the staging. It needs a theatrical staging and lots of luck! A shame Slovakia doesn’t participate.

As somebody told, every year, 2 countries of OGAE’s top 5 fail to qualify or stay in the bottom on the Grand Final.
So I’m worried about Estonia and Slovenia, my top 2 of this year. Hope both countries gets top 3.
Sweden is overrated, as every year.
Norway and Italy are good.

Anyways..those points for the Czech Republic dont really count as Slovakia isnt taking part this year. Pretty sure we will see them back next year though now that Czech Republic is back in the game. But really, for those who are using OGAE to give some indication to overall ESC results, the czech Republic would still be on zero, because hey got their points from a non competing country. Although in semi final 2, they have a lot of neighbours in Germany and Poland so they wont get the dreaded nil point

@kaz
You don’t like the song, that’s your opinion, no need to be so damn insulting, sort your life out and don’t be so pathetic! Ireland’s song is better than quite a few entry’s this year who are, to use your words, overhyped!

@ESCaddict: Serbia’s song is a cheap piece of crap and comparing it to Sweden’s is an insult to decent taste… Just my honest opinion…

I’m really surprised that beautiful songs from Poland, Ireland and Latvia have not got any points yet. However, I’m really concerned about Malta who I think deserves a top 10 finish this year. I’m shocked that no one has given her points and I’m scared that she’ll fail to qualify in Vienna. Hopefully someone votes for Amber, Aminata , Molly and Monika.

6 of the 7 songs are excellent songs and worthy winners. They are Italy, Estonia, Norway, Slovenia, Azerbaijan and Serbia.
Sweden is not in the same class. It’s just an Oh Oh chant. Mans & the rear projection are good but Heroes is just your average Swedish pop. It shouldn’t even be Top 10.

No surprises Ireland has 0 points. Terrible song, hyped up by too many Irish queens desperate for a substandard song to do well.

Italy if gets voted by one more Ogae club will reach the 300 points..
Sweden will gonna surpass this limit as well..
It will be the first time that 2 songs alone will manage to receive both over 300 points..

Oh the same exactly countries keep getting all the points pretty much.. Well the song of Czech deserved to get at least few/some points as it is very beautiful…I think that the disadvantage with the entry of Czech is that Marta & Vaclav possibly seemed too dark in their eyes & might did kinda not the best impression.. Well at first i was turned off by them but now i do not dislike them at all.. 🙂 Marta might looked like a witch in her photos but she must be cool nice person.. Vaclav too although the kind of touch… Read more »
