William: Electro Velvet have ironed out many of the kinks from their first rehearsal. The backing vocalists jive better with Bianca and Alex, and the opening vocal tease — “Let’s dance!” — blends much better now. Bianca has covered up the bulky LED battery pack on her back with a white faux fur stole, ending all thoughts of self-detonation. Her dress illumination looked far more impressive as a result. ORF’s camera team have given this more drive with fast-moving cutaways that up the energy. Alex really relished his scat section — you can feel his enthusiasm as he stares into the camera — but Bianca seemed somewhat tired (perhaps she’s just holding back for Saturday). The highlight of the act is an aerial shot above the spiraling LED floor — it’s dizzying and memorable.

I don’t care if most people hate this song. This is miles better than having some washed up has been from the 80s with a boring song. Kudos to UK team for putting a lot of effort on the staging this year. Looks like our feedback towards Molly’s performance last year reached them 🙂

Depressed. Embarrassed. Can I change my nationality. This year I want to be Belgium. Hope it brings some smiles to Eurovision however.

Lets all be honest – It’s pretty poor. My nieces and nephews love it though. Problem is, 5 year olds don’t have mobile Phones.

Those dancers, who double as backing vocalists, are really distracting – at least in this video. Maybe on tv it will be different, I don’t know…

Regarding everything else…well, I shouldn’t comment, since I didn’t resist watching the entire 3 minutes…

It’s a shame, I really like Bianca… Hopefully her career won’t be totally wrecked by the ‘Eurovision incident’ and we will hear more from her in the future.

The “d-d-d-dance” thing sounds absolutely abominable on the rehearsal videos. If that’s an improvement, then I shudder to think what it must have been like the other day. It’s a hell of a way to START the song. Written off in less than 10 seconds. And isn’t, uh, Alex supposed to light up too? And is that fur stole fireproof? The potential for LITERAL disaster just keeps growing exponentially here. The BBC team have got to be the worst turd polishers in the world. With the way this is going, how much you wanna bet they’ll pick it to go… Read more »

Oh my….. Lights on the clothes does not work. Haven’t they learnt that?
Serbia looks elegant compared to THIS.
I’m gonna bet 27/27 AND 0 points. Well deserved UK

I have a theory. Because the UK staging last year was so atmosphere-less, I think the BBC chose a song for its staging potential, rather than its musical quality. I hope that’s it, because if they picked it for any other reason, then I don’t understand.

Hope that Israel get through so that they will perform first…! (also love the song)

First half, most likely going to be the very first song as it’s one of the few uptempo songs (unless Slovenia or Israel qualify and get the first half) – this should be interesting.

Clear performing for the camera angles. I think it will look great on Saturday.
