After the second semi-final, the iTunes charts across Europe are lighting up with more Eurovision tracks. But unlike the first semi-final where Estonia, Sweden and Belgium dominated equally, the second semi-final has produced only one top track – Sweden.

The morning after the second semi-final, the Eurovision-2015 Tracker shows that Måns Zelmerlöw’s performance has inspired sales of the single in 25 countries across Europe (or 24 if you discount non-participant Luxembourg). Notably, “Heroes” is 2 in Lithuania, 3 in Estonia, 6 in Sweden and 7 in Slovenia.

The next three positions on the chart are the three favourites from semi-final one – Belgium, Russia and Estonia. “Rhythm Inside” is now charting in 20 countries, “A Million Voices” in 19, and “Goodbye to Yesterday” in 17.

iTunes chart after semi-final 2

The fifth most popular song is Latvia’s “Love Injected”, charting in 12 countries. Other stars from semi-final two, including Israel, Slovenia and Norway join Australia and Italy with charting in around 10 countries each.

The iTunes charts also reveal which countries have been buying songs from the most participants. Eurovision songs feature 19 times in the Swedish chart – not surprising considering the country is mad for Eurovision. But host country Austria also has Eurovision fever, with 17 songs featuring in its iTunes chart.

So, according to the iTunes chart, Eurovision 2015 has four big hits on its hands, with a significant number of others bubbling under. But there’s more to come as audiences are yet to experience the full performances from the Big 5+2. Anything is possible!

Is the iTunes chart position good news for Sweden? Or will there be surprises at the final? Leave your comments below.

Well done to my girl, Aminata! Been a fan of her since she competed on last year’s selection final in Latvia. She only finished 5th behind that joke Cake To Bake and now this year she’s in grand-finals!! 😀

As many comments said since Conchita won 2014 but not released an album when participating and won, the results can be seen now when the 2015 artists enter the top charts over Europe. So sad that he / she not listen to his / her fans

Aminata is THE surprise for me, Belgium close second. I love both songs and their staging.

I’m forgetting my other favorites and I’ll vote for these two. Together with Sweden. 🙂

@ Yes…*Jaymes* is so true…In most of these countries you just need few some copies to not just enter the charts but to gain top spots…

I can have myself to but a song, then tell my boyfriend to but the song too,few friends of us as well and the song will enter to no28..

In a country like mine Greece not many people are bying digital music from the internet itunes..

Only in countries like UK & the western Europe there are many people that buy their music from itunes..

You need like 10 sales in order to reach the top spot on iTunes in most of these countries, let alone the top 100.

None of this is surprising as these 5 songs are the best ones out of the competition.
My personal favorite remains Estonia though.
