This year’s Eurovision artists have had a busy two weeks filled with rehearsals, press conferences, interviews, and guest performances. But amid all that hustle and bustle, they do have a little bit of personal time to get in trouble and run riot. wiwiblogger David got up close and personal with them on the red carpet at the Eurovision Opening Ceremony to find out how they’re making the most of it.

Slovenia’s Maraaya talk to us about bringing their sons to the contest and how they’ve been to the zoo. Estonia’s Elina Born says it’s important to have “time to yourself”, even though she’s in a duet. Thankfully, Stig doesn’t seem too put out by that.

Poland’s Monika Kuszynska admits that she doesn’t have a lot of time but when she does, she likes listening to gospel music. You go, soul sister! Germany’s Ann Sophie bucks the trend and says that she doesn’t want quiet time and wants to get involved in all the “drama”. You’d have thought she might have wanted to leave that behind after the national final
