Ruslana, the Eurovision winner in 2004, will perform at Luxembourg’s Eurovision Gala Night 2015! The Ukrainian singer is the first act to confirm for Luxembourg’s own Eurovision party, which will take place on October 31. Wild dancing has never been this glamorous!
Ruslana was the first Eurovision winner from Ukraine back in 2004. Since then, you might remember her as a political activist, someone who rubs shoulders with Michelle Obama, and as a teary-eyed judge at a number of National Finals.
Ruslana will follow in the footsteps of other Eurovision winners like Linda Martin, who performed last year and caused 2015’s “Luxembourg is coming back” drama.
Luxembourg will host their 8th Eurovision Gala Night on the 31st of October at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-Les-Bains. It’s a black tie affair!

I find it sad that Luxembourg isn´t participating anymore. Why? Because they have no chance to win? Why not: in the last 3 years, there were really bad songs that got into the final, why not luxembourg? Maybe everybody would be surprised about the fact that Luxembourg is participating again and so they will shoot us right into the final… Luxembourg, try it… I will go to Sweden next year (my first live eurovision song contest). Would be cool to see Luxembourg there.

Ruslana 😀 Who wouldn’t like her! I have never liked her winning song, but I’m fond of her as a person.
As for Luxembourg. I don’t miss them, since my first ever Eurovision was held after their withdrawal. On the other hand, it would be nice to see them back on the stage. They were among the countries which founded Eurovision and probably we could hear more French at Eurovision 🙂 The argument about the money is incomprehensible. As someone said below – they are rich, even if a small country.

Mmhh .. well, Luxembourg is only 30 minutes away from me and this could be the first Eurovision event I ever visit, but is it worth the 40€?
Ok one more comment .. 🙂 Ruslana really stole the show on her spectacular appearance on Romania’s NF on this past visionary season <3 🙂 In her winning Vision of 2004 we had an all time record for the 3 first countries Ukraine-Serbia-Greece gathering the most points ever! Us Greece that finished 3rd had over 252 whole points! 22 more points than the ones of our Winner Helena Paparizou next year! Why making a expensive gala, if you could try a real eurovision-participation?
