Two weeks ago we attempted to remember all 40 Eurovision 2015 songs in succession with a camera rolling. Despite having heard the songs a million times in the run-up to Vienna, we struggled with a few, particularly The Makemakes’ “I Am Yours”. In fact, it was the only song we gave up on during filming. Not even thoughts of their flaming piano could help us remember the tune.

Well it seems that we’re not alone. We gave our readers two weeks to vote for the songs they struggled to recall. After counting 4,757 votes, Austria’s The Makemakes have come out on top. They earned 226 votes, or around 5% of all those cast, putting them just ahead of Portugal’s Leonor Andrade (204 votes) and San Marino’s Anita & Michele (202 votes). In case you can’t remember, Leonor sang “Há Um Mar Que Nos Separa”, and the San Marinese duo sang “Chain of Lights”. Given that The Makemakes scored zero points in the final, and that Portugal and San Marino failed to qualify, these results shouldn’t be that surprising…

According to our readers, Georgia’s Nina Sublatti had the most memorable song of the year with “Warrior”. Our readers also considered the songs from Belgium, Israel and Estonia highly memorable.

Below you can watch our Eurovision 2015 recap again and see the results in full. We’ll publish our Eurovision 2014 recap video tomorrow, and run another poll.

Which Eurovision 2015 do you struggle to remember? (Poll Closed)

Poland, Czech Republic were my least-memorable. Macedonia would have been more memorable if Daniel had applied the MUSIC from “Lisja Esenski” to his English version, “Autumn Leaves”.

Portugal’s song was so boring & dull..
It was my 6th least liked song or my 35th liked one…It was my last placed song 4 the 2nd SF..
And yeah it was totally non memorable..
Even less memorable from Finland’s horrible ”song” that stucks in our mind for its awful noise & the wrong reasons..

At least Hungary especially & Ireland’s were more memorable songs…Even Moldova’s that i disliked..

Portugal least memorable?
oh my god , really?
For me, the least memorable is hungary and ireland, boring, boring, boring, songs!

@ I do NOT think that this what im doing is truly spaming the place with irrelevant stuff so i will ignore your accusation..

@ Yes indeed i fully agree amigo..
But im hopeful that this sitiuation will change 4 good from now on..
There was drastic change the last years…Especially this year in Vienna’s Vision that the friendly voting-block voting & diaspora voting did not influence the results in really significant degree..

@Mario, you’ve literally proved my point that you’re spamming.

“I am yours” is far from being a bad song, it doesn’t deserve all the negative publicity… They were actually pretty well ranked by the juries, they ended up with zero point only because of a lack of televote support.

The Makemakers got ZERO points…………..get over it now. their song wasnt memorable enough. period. you can still love the song.

Finland wasn’t MEMORABLE?

Y’all need to learn you some English.

Norway was the most forgettable for me. France was a close second.

LOL Mario, Austria is not Greece. There is absolutely no desperate diaspora voting for us and no friends, as we have love-hate relationships with all our neighbours, but no BFF’s. Last year it was a big LGBT win, but every other year is hell. No televotes in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015. The only country that is doing worse is France, which came last in every televote since 2012.

WHO would have really expected that Make Makes not would finish last! but with zero 0 points even! That was really shocking to whitness…Although i disliked both their song & them as i have said.. I expected them to finish somewhere on top10-top15-top20 the worst…I did NOT even think that they would gonna finish outside the top20 alone! And i was suspecting that they had chances to even hit a low place in the top10 even..! But me & everyone of us fell out completely on their expectations 4 Austria’s song/act this year.. I really can’t understand & explain how… Read more »

Austria is only on top because there are too many Germans on this lonely planet. And Germans love to troll Austrians whenever they can. They put Sido into the jury, so that they don’t embarass themselves to give 12 points to their detested neighbours. They mock this year’s Eurovision everywhere on the Internet. And of course they vote the Makemakes as least memorable song, although Black Smoke does not even have a melody nor a hook.

Accurate results, every time I try to recall “I’m Yours” I end up humming that Jason Mraz song lol. Other songs that I can’t remember for the life of me are those from Ireland, Portugal, Greece and Hungary.

@ Oh…So it was that terrible bad 4 you?? Thats really unfortunate.. At least even if someone doesn’t like it to think that Georgia’s *Warrior* was a bad song & dislike it with this way is just sad 4 a eurofan like me that this one was my #1 most favorite.. <3 I do not really criticize you of course or your music taste but we just talk here to discuss about things and pass our time.. Even myself thinks that no any song was truly bad in Vienna's EuroVision except the horrible ''song'' from Finland of course.. Even the… Read more »

That is harsh. I don’t have a problem remembering the Makemakes song. I would say Portugal’s song was the least memorable.
Sure I remember Georgia’s Warrior. I remember it because it was so terrible. I want to know how I can forget it. I have deleted it from my music library and hope it fades away soon.

@ NO John.. I won’t… xx If you think that this is truly spaming then just whatever.. I have crossed the line in other wiwi articles but i really do not think that i do that here on this article though 4 the record…The explanation doesn’t go to you actually.. I was intending to post another more comment that i had in my mind before seeing your reply to me…Of course you won’t stop me from doing it.. But your request is appreciated…NOT.. Almost no one or too few users post comments here anyway.. And you will see enough comments… Read more »

I have listened to *Warrior* hundreds of times! <3 The #1 most played song among the 40 with big margin from the others also much listened songs! <3 And whenever i hear it it always makes my blood pressure go high & have me in euphoria mood! <3 I NEVER get bored of Georgia's song! <3 Its really one of a kind & just one of the few songs in history of EuroVision that have had such GreAtY impact to me! <3 Hopefully Nina Sublatti will make comeback returning again in our Vision! <3 Her 11th place was too low… Read more »

I don’t know if that really indicates quality. Austria’s song was admittedly forgettable but otherwise quite good and deserving of a spot in the top 20. Meanwhile the UK was far more memorable but for all the wrong reasons.

Mario, stop spamming please.

Yeah…Although Georgia’s song is great fantastic & its my #1 personal most favorite song among the 40, there are other songs that could get voted as the most memorable ones instead..
Like the ones of Italy,Sweden,Belgium,Russia,Estonia & Latvia..

DR, I see your point but there’s a difference between most memorable and most loved. For example, I hate Israel’s song but I found it pretty memorable and so I didn’t vote for it. Similar with songs like Netherlands, Moldova and Finland. The most memorable in my opinion is probably Sweden or Belgium, not Georgia.

I think this polls puts to bed much of the backlash Nina sablatti winning so many polls. This poll was done in such a way that its hard for fans to make Nina the most favourite as they would have had to vote for other songs and the spread would have made it less effective. It truly shows that the Warrior was the most loved song by Wiwiblogg readers.

Oooch…That must hurt 4 MakeMakes 😛 hehe..
Well good because i dislike them & i find them obnoxious..
Their song was my 39th least liked only beating the horrible ”song” of Finland..
In the big final they were my own last place..

Mostly these results are expected except of certain exceptions..

I find San Marino and Portugal much less memorable than Austria. I still like Austria’s song and get it stuck in my head a fair bit.

The most memorable sounds not always mean they’re the best, just listen”pimba” music “pimba” and that sh*t comes into your memory.
