Dinah Nah has confirmed to Swedish tabloid Expressen that she is super keen to return to Melodifestivalen in 2016.
Despite a packed summer performing at events like Allsång på Skansen, Sommarlov and RIX FM-festival, Dinah is already writing songs and thinking about heading into the studio to record her next Mello smash.

Nah also used the interview to highlight the problem of ageism in the music industry and its impact on her nearly abandoning her solo career.
“I felt I couldn’t cope plugging away and trying. I was over thirty as well, and unfortunately in this industry there’s been a best before date.”
Then Doctor Alban rang, offered “Make Me (La La La)” and Dinah decided to give it a try.
And we are hella glad (and not just because that meant we got the sex wall…!). We salute Dinah speaking out on the issue and also proving the haters wrong with her dance smash #BAM.
We love Dinah big time and hope to see her at #mello 2016 – especially if she brings a huge club banger with her! We have our fingers crossed and hope SVT is listening!

Ugh! What is with Sweden’s obsession with pop divas who can’t sing live?
I’m not concerned with her being in Melodifestivalen, other than it’s taking a slot away from someone more deserving. She’s certainly never going to be in any danger of winning.
A hit record doesn’t prove anything, other than marketing often trumps talent.
Yayyyyyyy! Make Me La La La should’ve went to Vienna in my opinion and I was devastated when she came last. Dinah for Stockholm hopefully 🙂
Eurovision needs a few changes:
1) increase the length limit from 3 minutes to 3,5 minutes
2) increase the number of persons permitted on stage from 6 to 10
3) reduce the number of participants advancing to the final from semi-finals from 10 to 8
