Ahead of his performance at the Eurovision Live Concert 2015 in Setúbal on 12 September, Maltese heartthrob Kurt Calleja sat down with wiwibloggs to talk about his time at Eurovision — and the potential of a return.

Kurt revealed that he was devastated after finding out Amber did not qualify for the final. He even flew to Vienna with Amber’s relatives to support Amber, who provided backing vocals for him in Baku in 2012. For us her elimination was a real crime!

He also talked about expanding his horizons and how he’s whipping his body into shape, and he even revealed the Eurovision star with whom he really wants to get in touch again. Wanna find out who? You’ll have to watch our interview below…

Kurt also gave us his best impersonation from The Lion King

Amber was tone-deaf.

I like him a lot! He is funny and I would love to see him back in Eurovision. And I am happy that the Twiins are still there.

There should be 2 or 3 preliminary rounds prior to the final where the public has at least a partial say in the elimination process. It’s simply unwise to marginalize the public vote by giving it only a one-seventh share of the total vote, because this could repeat last year’s scenario,… Read more »

I remember seeing Kurt after the second semifinal and he really looked devastated. He’s such a nice guy and I hope he will continue performing in all these Eurovision events in the future also. 🙂
