Russia’s national selection for Junior Eurovision 2015 was pre-recorded earlier this afternoon, and tonight you’ll learn who will sing in Sofia. While you wait for the broadcast, we thought it’d be a good time to reveal a different result — your favourite Junior Eurovision 2015 act so far.

In May Albania chose Mishela Rapo (“Dambaje”). In August, Belarus selected Ruslan Aslanov with “Volshebstvo” (Magic), while Ukraine went with Anna Trincher with “Pochny z Sebe” (Start with Yourself). And on August 24 we asked our readers to review the three acts and to let us know who rules the schoolyard.

After counting a total of 561 votes, we can now reveal that Anna has come out on top. She earned 43% of all votes with her message of empowerment (told with a slightly rocker chick vocal).

Albania’s Mishela came second with 32% for her song, which needs to be in a Disney movie right now.

And Belarus’ Ruslan earned a very respectable 24%. He knows how to bring the drama!

Who did you support and why? Let us know below. Our next poll will open TOMORROW (Saturday) and will include the winner from Russia.

Ukraine’s entry blew me away at first sight, no wonders on why is it topping the list – she’s obviously my clear winner so far. What’s wrong with everybody else, though? The Albanian song is as catchy as a requiem and Belarus screams boredom all the way, IMHO. And what about Russia? Wasn’t this a KIDS song contest? Am I about to watch an strange version of The Voice franchise or what the heck happens with ’em? I’m starting to be a lil bit fed up of ballads in what’s supposed to be a party for children. Fingers crossed my… Read more »

** 1) Belarus Really beautiful song… <3 For me its hot candidate to possibly win in Sofia 🙂 ** 2) Ukraine OK song…The bright presense of dear Anna lifts it up 🙂 Can do really great in Sofia's Vision…Even win 🙂 ** 3) Albania Nice song BUT…The fact that during the song just a single lyric line is getting repeated endlessly all the time it makes it tiring & irritating…Really pity because as a song it could had much potentials 4 a great result in Sofia if there were much more lyrics inside…I hope that the albanian delegation will change… Read more »

Surprised about Albania coming 2nd….thought that they would come 3rd (last) with Belarus in 2nd….But anyway there are still (at least) 12 other entries to be known, so you never know what could happen……

I hope we will get some good pop songs very soon. Cause that was actually what made 2014 so awesome. Ukraine us my favourite right now and that is mistly because of the pretty screampart

Love Ukraine’s song, with a different presentation on stage and maybe a little revamp on the song, this will be fantastic. This guys never disappointed me and that’s why Ukraine is my favourite country in Eurovision, well done!
