Athena Manoukian has the voice and the look that pop idols are made of. In recent months our readers have been dreaming about her one day singing for Armenia at Eurovision. And while all of you will have to keep dreaming for now, you can enjoy her existing singles — “XO”, “I Surrender” and “Party Like a Freak” on her YouTube channel.
Athena recently traveled to London to work on a new single and she kindly took some time to chat with wiwibloggs in our special Halloween dungeon (don’t worry: no singers were harmed in the making of this video). Warning: you’re going to fall in love with her and her laugh!
This is just a taster. We’ll be publishing a separate interview discussing Athena’s amazing music, her recent trip to Armenia and much, much more in the weeks ahead. As for now, get ready to be spooked…
Athena is pronounced ”Athina” which is Athens in Greek. Why do we still disquss which country should she represent ?
She has to represent Armenia in 2017 – perhaps in Yerevan if Iveta takes the victory
Now i’m gonna kill wiwibloggs)) :’D
Where is that ‘Eastenders’ duf-duf moment when you need it the most? I can just see Athena going: “Hello Princess”…BTW, what else is going on in Wiwi’s dungeon 364 days in a year?
cute
WOW!! #HappyHalloween indeed. I love Athena’s single XO. It’s the kind of song that would be amazing at Eurovision. Can’t wait for Part 2 of the interview and Athena’s new track!!!!!!
The twist of the story is that she represents Greece, not Armenia, at Eurovision.
