Switzerland’s selection process for Eurovision 2016 has been running for most of the autumn. If you’ve been following it closely, then you’ve seen plenty of thrills and spills along the way — from SRF’s internet platform to the 19 chosen songs for the Expert Check to the announcement of the six finalists. That’s a long road…and it’s still winding.

The final of Die Grosse Entscheidungsshow 2016 won’t take place until February 13, but you can already choose your favourites! The following six artists — from all the corners of Europe — want to represent Switzerland in Stockholm, but who do you want to see on the Eurovision stage?

You can review the six songs below and then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many songs as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. We’ll close the results a few days before the final. Don’t worry: We’ll give you a 48-hour warning!

Switzerland in Eurovision 2016: Finalists

Kaceo – “Disque d’or” (RTS)

Following Stephanie Palazzo’s disqualification, Kaceo has replaced her as one of the two RTS acts.

Bella C – “Another World” (RTS)

Theo – “Because of You” (RSI)

Stanley Miller – “Feel the Love” (SRF)

How on earth can Vincent have overtaken Rykka in the poll?! This is just downright injustice!

Bella C or Rykka but if Rykka doesn’t improve she might end crusially, so my vote goes to BellaC

Who’s spamming the poll for Vincent? It’s still obvious to me that Rykka has the strongest song of the bunch

Ok, now when I can vote, I will tell you my new top 6: 1. Kaceo 2. Bella C 3. Rykka 4. Theo 5. Stanley Miller 6. Vincent Gross Even if this is my top 6, these are the three songs I think could make the best results out of these songs: “Another world”: This song is a little bit like Conchita Wursts song, and “Rise like phoenix” won, so I think that this song in best case could be the third swiss winner. “Because of you”: Calming and relaxing, after seeing The Netherlands 2014 and Cyprus 2015 doing better… Read more »

Why did you just put Kaceo in your old poll? I wanted to vote for Kaceo, but I have already voted when Stephanie Palazzo was in, could you please just re-publish your poll?

To get to the final, Switzerland need Rykka or Vincent. To actually get a very good finish, Switzerland need Rykka. Vincent will easily get to the final but won’t do too well, Rykka might, with slightly better vocals, win the whole contest. Not really a tough choice, Switzerland. Pick Rykka and win Eurovision!

@CookyMonsta , yeh the music video for Sebalter for Eurovision was pretty ridiculous and didn’t suit the song. I think they were trying to lighten up the content so that the audience weren’t focused on lyrics such as ” But yet, self-confidence is a fragile concept, that often fades away in the night …..I fear your judgment..I am so wet , I’m dirty. it’s me and my imperfections”

Rykka is trying to make herself out to be edgy but the song is incoherent in places and the lyrics are bizarre. Given that her song is supposed to appeal to juries rather than the public, the musical flaws will let her down.

Last of our Kind is the only one able to get into the final.

@James: You’re right. I had to listen to it again. Maybe I’m overthinking the music video and his stage performance in Copenhagen.

Putting my Canadian bias aside and listening to the song again, I think Rykka would be the best choice. Coupled with a good stage presentation, the song will stand out and if she also has a good cover song choice for round 2, she could be the one punching the ticket to Stockholm. I worry about Bella C because of her Bond-esque song, Stanley’s song does nothing for me, and Theo and Vincent strike me as too “bubblegum” for my liking.

@CookyMonsta, I don’t think Sebalter’s song was comedic, it had lyrics about being deeply insecure and messed up. It was wrapped up in some feel good folk to take the edge off it, but it certainly was not comedy.

Clearly Rykka…so much potential with the right staging and polishing! 😀

1. Rykka
2. Everyone else

honestly if Switzerland sends anything else it’s going to suffer in Stockholm and lose badly in the semis
also whoever compared Sebalter to Vincent Gross–keep in mind that the country sent Takasa and Anna Rossinelli to the contest with a similar style and one was a non-qual while the other was last in the final. A cutesy guitar-based song doesn’t ensure success.

@Cheesecake: Alas…If only Crispi made it past the first cut. No doubt about what he would have put on stage (the dancers, for one). There’s always Germany; but he’d have to get past Madeline Juno and Fahrenhaidt. Even Rino Dilugano (“Dimmi Se C’e'”) would have made things interesting at DGES. Be that as it may, this is how I see the remaining Entscheidungsshow contenders: 1. Vincent Gross: A feel-good song with a feel-good vibe. Some feel-good songs (like Gianluca’s from 2013) do very well. This almost fits the mold. Swiss sent a song in 2014 that was part-feel-good and part-comedic,… Read more »

Ashamed of my country’s selection once again… If we fail again in Stockholm, there just HAVE TO be some changes done at last.
Rykka or Vincent are the only ones that could do “well”. But I’m prepared for NQ already.

My personal favourite is Bella C with “Another World”, but it’s not for Eurovision (at least for the current era), so my vote goes to my second favourite – Rykka.
