The wait is over, as Hungary’s MTVA have just released details of the thirty acts which will compete in A Dal 2016

The thirty strong list features several familiar names including Passed and Ív from 2015 and the aforementioned Kállay Saunders. The line-up also contains our very own wiwivision entrant, Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári (aka Freddi).

I reckon Kallay’s song would be a decent entry. Uncle Tom, Trouble In My Mind, Pioneer, Reggeli Reggae, Kinek Sirjam, Free and Hold On To also sound interesting…

I really love Anna Patai’s “Colors”. She may be 16 but her songs do not make her seem like she’s on her way to JESC instead of Eurovision – she perfectly knows that she’s on her way to Eurovision and she’s showing us that she deserves it in the best way she can – with an upbeat song that showcases her powerful vocals well. I want Anna to win A Dal, I’m sure that she’ll give Hungary a much higher placing in the finals next year. Also, her song reminds me of Destiny’s Child’s early songs.

If the snippet is anything to go by “Trouble in my mind” could be an amazing entry!

I’ve been a massive fan of Hungary at Eurovision since their return in 2011, every entry since has been really good, well except Boggie in 2015, but even then, the song wasn’t the worst. Andras Kallay Saunders was the best thing about the 2014 contest, his song was amazing, not to mention I fancy him like crazy! Love his entry this time around too, so I hope he comes back to get better than the 5th place from Copenhagen. Budapest would also be an amazing host city. I’m sure it is only a matter of time until Hungary do actually… Read more »

I mean EDM not EMD. I was talking about Electronic Dance Music, not Danny Saucedo’s old pop group. Lol

OK, I was curious enough. 😛

I made a list:

1. Kallay
2. Passed
3. Olah Gergo
4. Berkes Oliver
5. Patai Anna

Only song I love from the full released song is Kallay’s. Fire & Colours would wrap up my top 3. The rest are all horrifying.

I went straight to Kallay’s song. I like it.

Don’t mind the others even though I haven’t heard a single one of them. I’ll wait for the finals, when I can easily listen less than 10 songs. Hahahah

Aww, Kati isn’t coming bad 🙁 I actually really hate both Kallay songs now.

If Kallay-Saunders should win, we’d have yet another returning artist. Curious about the final number of comebacks in Stockholm 😉

My favourite song so far is the one from Kallay Saunders Band, but I think Freddie’s song is good too. We’ll have to wait til the live shows to see which song do better.

Kallay’s song is amazing. I’ve been wanting a dramatic drum based EMD type song for years. I hope it makes it to Stockholm. I have a feeling. Budapest 2017 anyone.

Kállay-Saunders Band is my favorite so far. The song feels a little strange and messy in its construction, but it’s a strong one. I’m curious to see how it would do in Stockholm tho.
I also quite like the snippet from Freddie, can’t wait to hear the whole song!

I usually like/love the Hungarian entries, so I’m looking forward to A Dal.

Generally I begin to have a feeling that we will have many good, outstanding songs in next year’s contest. 🙂

ív! God I loved her last year, her voice is so amazing. Hopefully her song rocks this year, as IMO “Fire” was better than Boggie last year (though Kati should still have won.)

Not a bad bunch here either, this year is looking good. Patai Anna, Colors: This is fun and would definitely get to the Grand Final. This year looks like it needs some fun female pop vocals, and this would do nicely. Once they change to British English spelling, of course 😉 7/10 Juli Horányi, Come Along: I can’t quite place what this reminds me of. Atomic Kitten maybe? It’s easy and enjoyable, very radio friendly but maybe a little too paint by numbers but she has a good voice and her English pronunciation is impeccable, which does make a difference.… Read more »
