After his successful art exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey’s Eurovision 2012 star Can Bonomo has released his new video for “Hikayem Bitmedi”. The title of the song literally translates as “My story is not over” and this time Can Bonomo’s dealing with a broken heart.
It serves as the fourth single from his latest album Bulunmam Gerek.
Back in May, Ilker Kaleli, who is the main character on popular Turkish TV show Poyraz Karayel, covered the track. Overnight the song became a hit in Turkey and the cover video from Ilker Kaleli has been watched more than one million times on YouTube.
Can Bonomo has explained that the message of “Hikayem Bitmedi” is, “I cried but that was not enough.” He really wants her to love him back again and we are really feeling the emotional vibes.
Bonomo sings, “I am sad, I am so sick, make me laugh doctor…I am dead but I am still alive, it is hard to explain.”
Nobody ever said breakups were easy honey but our heart does go out for Can.
