We started with 28 and only 20 remain. Ok, the competition may not exactly be cut-throat, but Lithuania’s Eurovizija 2016 selection process is beginning to pick up pace. The last of the heats took place on Saturday, meaning we now know the line-up for the second quarterfinal.
All ten acts entered the process without a song. LRT subsequently matched each contestant with songs submitted by songwriters. Only five will progress to the semifinal. Who deserves to make it? You can watch all ten performances below. Then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to check the box next to every act you want to support before submitting your votes. Voting ends on Friday 5 February — just before the quarterfinal on Saturday 6 February.
You can also still vote in our first quarterfinal poll. Donny Montell of Eurovision 2012 fame currently leads with 238 votes, which amounts to a whopping 35% of all votes cast. Second spot is occupied by another Eurovision veteran in the form of Erica Jennings. The SKAMP frontwoman has 87 votes. Petunija is third with 83 votes. But there’s still time for all this to change.
