Mihai‘s journey to Stockholm didn’t start well. After his video for “Paradisio” became a viral sensation in Romania for all the wrong reasons (poor production, bad editing, and an involuntarily funny story), Mihai was forced to admit that his bid for Eurovision had substandard visuals. He has now deleted the 15,000-euro video and replaced it with a low-budget lyric video, hoping to erase the fiasco from our minds — and shift our attention to the Paradisio lyrics instead.
He does, however, promise to come back with a better video — although, if you ask us, one failed attempt was more than enough. After all, it’s the Eurovision Song Contest, not the Eurovision Video Contest. And even last year’s winner Måns Zelmerlöw still only has a lyric video for his song “Heroes”. Sometimes, keeping it simple pays off.
Paradisio lyrics
Fly fly fly … To the sky sky sky
Listen, my baby Listen to me … I reach to you
My World is dying.
Beautiful baby … Through the stars I come to you
So I’m just flying.
My World is
Full of darkness, frozen and destroyed
So set me … free …
Paradisio
Living in a world of shadows
Paradisio
Coming from the stars.
Look at me, baby … Into my eyes … You give me love …
No … I’m not dreaming …
Beautiful lady… Now it’s time … For us to feel …
The joy of giving.
My love is
Growing up … You make my life complete …
I feel so … Sweet …
Paradisio
Living in a world of shadows
Paradisio
Coming from the stars.
Listen up … Listen up …
You’re the light through the darkness.
Screamin’ out … Singin’ out …
Hi …
Paradisio … Hei-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh …
Paradisio … I’m flying to your star …
Paradisio
Living in a world of shadows
Paradisio
Coming from the stars.

Poll results
Our poll results show that the song “Paradisio” itself doesn’t have a leg to stand on in front of Mihai’s previous success “Tornero”. After 431 votes were cast, “Tornero” was preferred by almost 78% of our readers. Ouch!

Haha i actually like this, love the tackyness. If he can do the 20 seconds climax it would be pretty impressive on stage
Bad dated song.
Tornero was masterpiece.
boring…..
Are you kidding me? Tornero is a masterpiece, Paradisio sounds a little dated….
The lyrics are cheesy as hell.
I kind of hate it when people really knock something. You know what the song is not the worst ever and praise for investing so much money in a promotion video. He obviously has passion and energy as well as creativity and you know what I kind of like the song better than Tornado. I’d defiantly vote for him.
This song may be good only for fulfillment of album.
Am I the only person who likes the song? It seems pretty standard for Romanian trance. The instrumentals need to do more in the chorus, but I think he has something to work with. There are a couple of neat features to this song too. Maybe I just appreciate this sort of track more because I listened to Eiffel 65 growing up. The lyrics aren’t great, but at least they’re better than the ones in Ireland’s entry, and besides, what would you expect from Romanian trance? I really didn’t like Tornero, on the other hand, and this is much better.… Read more »
Its sounds waay too much like tornero
He waits 10 years for the right song and it’s this ?
…this is honestly a really generic and cheap song. I don’t think it will do well in Stockholm if it does get picked.
@ Branko: Robyn’s name was hilariously misspelt in this entertainment news report which was also broadcast on Romanian television Prima: http://www.click.ro/video-foto/click-tv/mihai-traistariu-criticat-dur-de-romanii-din-diaspora
I think i’m in a minority, but i don’t like “Tornero”, never liked and never understood such a huge hype around it. But i have to agree, this song “Paradisio” is MUCH worse. If Mihai will have opportunity to complete in this year’s Romania’s National Final with THIS song, i hope he won’t win only because of who is he.
He should delete the song as well.
That pesky Tobyn… 😉
“Paradisio” is just a really bad song in general. I didn’t like “Tornero”, but this is even worse. I hope he doesn’t even get a spot in the Romanian national final.
That was epic.
It works because it is Mihai and he believes every word of it.
It was pretty cringe-worthy
