Grab your life jackets and get ready to ride Iveta Mukuchyan‘s “LoveWave”! Yes, five months after AMPTV confirmed Miss Mukuchyan as Armenia’s representative for Eurovision 2016, they have finally revealed her song title and release date. Mark your calendars: The song will drop on March 2.

Despite staging an international call for songs, Iveta’s team ultimately when for some home-grown talent. Her Eurovision entry has been composed by Lilith Navasardyan and Levon Navasardyan — the talented duo behind Armenia’s Junior Eurovision 2015 entry “Love“. That was a smash so we are already feeling good about this. Iveta has written the lyrics for the song together with Stephanie Crutchfield and the song reflects Iveta’s inner world and personal emotions. Deep and fabulous!

The song’s music video will premiere together with the song via Armenia’s First Channel and eurovision.tv. The music video will feature Swedish top model Ben Dahlhaus, who has been dubbed “Sweden’s Brad Pitt” by the international press. Fingers crossed that things get steamy!

Ben adds even more high-fashion street cred to Iveta’s ever-longer list of accomplishments. She recently attended the Polo Ralph Lauren show alongside Hollywood superstars Ciara and Emma Roberts. She also showed us how to put on a huge show when she sang “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” on First Channel’s New Year’s Gala.

Are you excited to hear Iveta’s song? What do you expect from her? Tell us in the comments!

Hoping the song is a good one. Please let it be a good quality lyrics and upbeat modern melody!!! every year Almost all of the participants from Armenia had great vocals but it’s always their song choice that doesnt let them win. They have sent a few really weak songs i.e. Boom boom, Lonely Planet. Face the Shadow????????????

Antony agree with you, i wanted to say the same. I think manager of the wiwiblogs website have to delete John Christian and his comments, because hi is really agressive.

John Christian- A think you are really idiot. Say from yourself, not from all of us. Everybody likes Iveta, and i like her too. So go and kill youself moron. Everybody tired from you. You are everywhere under texts about Iveta, and you every where say craps about her. I think you are just crazy.

We will never support WEAK EUROVISION CONTENDERS like Iveta Mukuchyan by not listening to her song! Sorry, Armenia, but it’s your time to withdraw!

In a year when all of the confirmed songs so far I don’t personally like (except one), Armenia could do extremely well. This could be the winner. We’re all just waiting for the song now. x

She is going to slayyyy….just praying it’s the winning song. Yerevan 2017 would actually be really interesting – it looks like a beautiful town.

I hate when they say: “Oh our song won’t be out for a few weeks.” It’s really annoying IMO that you have to wait so long.
