Eneda Tarifa was the very first Eurovision 2016 singer to reveal her song — and way back in December. Since then, and in the grand tradition of Albanian revamps, she has been busy tweaking and chopping the number to make it extra special for ESC. And today we’ve learned that the re-cut song — originally known as “Përrallë” — will premiere next week, on March 14. The video will be uploaded to Eurovision.tv’s official YouTube channel as well as the official RTSH YouTube channel.

Eneda is currently busy filming the official video, which is being shot and produced in Albania right now. The song title of the 2016 Albanian entry for Eurovision isn’t confirmed yet, but it will most likely be called “Fairytale Love”. Tarifa will be singing in English at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.

Aiming high and ready to work, Eneda traveled to England to revamp her song at Woodstock Studios in London.

How to watch the song premiere

The song will be revealed on RTSH’s evening news at 20:00 CET, March 14. You can watch it on RTSH’s live stream.

Eneda Tarifa won Festivali i Këngës 54 back in December 2015 with Përrallë, making it her first win in the competition.

Moments after her win, our jury filmed their reaction. The jurors all noted the song’s great potential and thought a re-vamp could help her slay.

I love Albania’s song just the way it is but I understand it must be reworked to cut it to 3 minutes.

@Colin, well i think Netherlands, Latvia and Probably Malta as well

as my contenders

my vote will go to Malta, beautiful woman Ira Losco and forever in my heart with 7th wonder, she was robbed of a win in 2002

let’s hope she’ll have a good song this year

Yes, Nicky91, I love Douwe’s song too and wouldn’t mind his win at all. We will wait and see.

And about Albania, as I said before, translations rarely work. First, she needs good English accent (something that costed Albania a lot in 2014, transforming good song into a ‘meh’ one.). Second, the lyrics need to fit both the original lyrics and the melody, which can be a strugle.

other countries give it up

Douwe Bob will win the song contest, so all other countries can just give up

I like Albania’s last entry (but I’m kinda disappointed with the performance tho). I like this year’s entry either. It is somehow getting stuck in my head. Revamp shouldn’t ruin it because without revamp it has been good already

Give us a break please.
We should make a petition also then about sending:
Edyta for Poland, Simone for Denmark, Stine Hole Ulla for Norway,
Saara Aalto for Finland, etc..

I’ve been having high expectations since December until now. Përrallë is a good song with a very big potential and a marvellous voice, I really hope albanians will be able to exploit that potential to create a masterpiece… please Albania, don’t let me down like other countries did
