Greek broadcaster ERT has decided that the band Argo will be the one to fly the Greek flag in Stockholm. In their song “Utopian Land”, Argo combine hip hop sounds with Pontian folk music and traditional instruments such as the lyre, all elements of ancestral legacy for most of the band’s members.
The band sings about the refugee crisis, but admit that “I have experienced a flee when I was young, and I step forward even when I look behind”. “Utopian Land” is a call for unity, so that people will come together and overcome the difficult problems we all face.
