Ciao Italia! While yesterday we finally got to know the last song of this 2016 Eurovision, the Bulgarian entry “If Love Was a Crime” by Poli Genova, Italy is still fuelling our curiosity. But we’ll soon get to hear the Eurovision version of “No Degree of Separation”, as Francesca Michielin will perform the song live on an Italian web show tonight.
Some weeks ago RAI officially announced that Francesca Michielin is set to perform a bilingual version of her Sanremese hit “Nessun Grado di Separazione” – in Italian with one chorus in English.
The new title is “No Degree of Separation” but Eurofans all over the world have not yet had the chance to listen to it, since the official YouTube Eurovision channel is still missing the three-minute edited version of the entry.
Francesca Michielin “Nessun grado di separazione”
Our curiosity is skyrocketing but finally tonight we’ll have a special preview of the song Michielin will sing in Stockholm.
According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Francesca is among the guests of Webnotte, a famous Italian web show about music where she will perform for the very first time “No Degree of Separation”. You can watch the show here live from 21:00 CET.
The site adds that the song will be out on Friday, however the author of the article, Matteo Quinzi, does not specify if he is talking about the official video or he means we can purchase the new version on iTunes and Spotify by that day.
With this, Italy stays strong as my favorite.
Russia, Estonia, Germany and France come next 🙂
Wooooow..
Magical……………….

Colin
Yes they exist in 1999 and Belgium bombing Yugoslavia in 1999 and kill many people.
@eli
Yugoslavia doesn’t exist since 1991, the war is over for two decades and anyone being killed is quite out of the ordinary and newsworthy.
eli
Belgium bombing people in Yugoslavia and kill many people. That is same teroristic attack of NATO on people on one county.
It’s my winner this year no matter what. I hope she has a good accent. She can win GOOOOOOO FRANSCESCA <3 <3 <3 <3
@dorian I’m sick of people making excuses for terrorists! or atleast deflecting blame by saying that sort of sh*t. Beligum unlike Syria, Yugoslavia and Turkey are not in an ethnic civil war so when a terrorist attack happens it’s out of the odrinary and shocking. So show some respect instead of getting annoyed at people saying that their thoughts are with Belgium
I waiting for! I fell in love with this song the first time!
Italy doesn’t have an amazing song this year, as we were used to. The Italian language was the good part of it, it should be a no brainer to change it.
Angelo
When NATO bombing Yugoslavia 78 days and kill many people wiht bomb and Belgium was include in that, nobody cares in Europe. Belgium send song and singing in Jerusalim when bomb kills people in Yugoslavia.
Is it right to be posting articles about a big European party when the religion of peace just killed another 23 people in the heart of Europe.
Thoughts go out to everyone in Belgium and anyone who knows someone there.
I’m worried about this. Yes, it’s only 26 on my top but on many other tops she’s in the top 10. Her live vocal wasn’t bad by any means, but very average. She could be this year’s fan favourite flop.
Mr Robin Gallagher do you own any photo of her showing or touching her feet? I would be satisfied if you upload them 😉
My current top 10 are
1 france or Italy
3 Sweden
4 Bulgaria
5 Malta
6 Estonia
7 Australia
8 Poland
9 Hungary
10 Azerbaijan
MY TOP 5
1.Latvia
2.Serbia
3.Ukraine
4.France
5.Poland
Only not good in her song is her vocals. Same situation with Iceland, Malta this year.
For croatian song is only not good is lack of charisma of singer.
From the start this song does nothing for me what so ever, I just don’t see what all the hype is all about , maybe top 10 ,But that’s about it,
My top five
1, AZERBAIJAN
2, SERBIA
3, FRANCE
4, RUSSIA
5, FINLAND
The Sanremo version is comfortably in my top 5 for the year, fingers crossed it survives the edit. The English should be ok – those lyrics @kewl shared fit well enough – I am much more concerned about losing about a fifth of the song or so.
There is no degree of separation
There is no degree of hesitation
There is no degree of space between us
live in love
We are stars aligned together
dancing through the sky, we are shining
The song has a beautiful meaning that ppl must understand in order to appreciate it~!
I wonder if she improved her vocals. I mean, she wasn’t bad on San Remo but I feel like it could have been better.
Actually the English lyrics are out on Eurovision.tv.
