Two-time Belarus national finalist Vitaly Voronko bewildered judges on Britain’s Got Talent with his unique electronic accordion playing — and his inability to answer the judges’ simple question: “What’s your name?”

Simon Cowell: Not impressed

The 25-year-old musician turned up to the audition ready to impress the judges with his version of “Under the Sea” from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. But he seemed to have missed the memo on the pre-performance chat with the judges.

Wearing a yellow superhero costume with a red cape, Vitaly appeared to not be able to hear the judges, before he merrily launched into the nautical Disney hit, with judges David Walliams and Simon Cowell shouting out “What’s your name?”.

While the performance got two buzzes from Walliams and Cowell, Vitaly’s energy was a hit with the audience, earning him a standing ovation. He followed up with an unauthorised second song — Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us”, perhaps summing up the male judges’ feelings.

As well as his BGT appearance, Vitaly has made two attempts to represent Belarus at Eurovision. In 2013 he came ninth at the national final with his song “I Wonder How You”, while last year he finished last with “Drajv” (Drive), having scored only a single point from the jury and nothing from the televote.

Britain’s Got Talent isn’t the first talent show appearance for the Belarusian. In 2014 Vitaly and his accordion auditioned on The Voice of Poland, but sadly failed to inspire any of the coaches to turn around.

I think at this stage, Vitaly needs to take the hint 🙂 he’s a fun guy though and the facial hair really suits him. Maybe he could be a comedian or something 🙂
