Stockholm’s Hard Rock Cafe has hosted music legends including The Jackson 5, The Temptations, Miles Davis and Iron Maiden. And on May 11 it will host some of your favourite Eurovision stars — past and present — as part of the inaugural #WiwiJam. Kicking off at 6pm and running until late, the event is free and open to everyone. Come listen to the stars, meet the team behind wiwibloggs and absorb the atmosphere of one of Stockholm’s premiere music venues. We advise you to arrive early, because our next act is opening the show…
Suzy from Portugal at the #wiwijam
UAUAUÉ! UAUÉ! If you recognise that refrain then you likely already know and love our fourth confirmed act — Suzy from Portugal!
She won Festival da Canção back in 2014 with her carnival-like song “Quero Ser Tua”, and missed out on the final by just one point. She later earned the distinction as the Portuguese Eurovision star who has performed at the most concerts in Europe and was invited to help launch the first and only Airbus 350 in the world by Qatar Airways. She knows how to do it — and she does it with style.
With Portugal out of the competition this year, Suzy is going to represent for the Iberian nation in Stockholm.
She’s opening our show so she can scoot off and prepare for a series of other gigs — Suzy is in demand.
At the #WiwiJam she’ll most def drop the Suzy Shake, and we can guarantee she’ll bring her bright and outgoing personality. Best of all Portugal’s RTP cannot withdraw from this gig!
Suzy is the fourth act confirmed for the #WiwiJam.
We’ll be revealing some more big names in the days ahead, so stay tuned…
As for now, why not re-live some of Suzy’s performances — including covers of “Rise Like a Phoenix” and “Euphoria” — from EuroFest in London?
SUZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY 🙂
Great suzy. She did Great both as dinner as a spokesperson. Pitty the almost clasification.
Awesome to hear Suzy on ESC-related event again. 🙂
Amazing! Well done Wiwibloggs! Thank you! Thank you Suzy
Oh My God!!! And all those euro- stars will sing in a party that I will miss! I’ll come in Stockholm next day, on 12 May. So pity…. I hope you have a great time those you ‘ll be there!
Werk that suzyshake hunty
I’m very sad that Portugal decided to return next year. For what? We’re always badly treated by Europe, in 60 years and the best place we got was a 6th place? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SHAME ON YOU!
<3 OMG I love her!
