Blue is blue, red is red, but Slovenia’s ManuElla works every colour. On Saturday, the Slovene representative released the long awaited music video for “Blue And Red”. In it, she serves up tonnes of pop star realness. She’s Aaaliiiiiiiiiveeeeeeheeeeyeee, y’all!
ManuElla – Blue and Red
Recorded on a film set, our girl vogues, sings and signs autographs, because she’s the star. Moving away from the majorette look she sported at EMA 2016, ManuElla offers us a variety of styles, from angel in white to rock chick. There’s even room for some special effects with glitter floating around her hands before lighting up the whole building. Not only that, ManuElla clearly knows that the camera loves her. This is how you work your angles.
The music video isn’t all that’s new. “Blue And Red” itself has had a slight revamp. Now the song starts with a bang, as the country crooner greets us with a massive “alive“. The bridge is shorter and features heavier drums. ManuElla really wants to make an impact and she’s taking steps in the right direction.
An acrobat to Stockholm
We still don’t know if ManuElla will take her dramatic EMA costume change to Stockholm. However, she definitely won’t be alone on stage. Danish acrobat Jannik is tagging along, so be ready for something different.

Slovenian music videos are very nice in quality, starting from 2014 until this 2016. Now I have to wait for Jamala to release her music video.

This video makes me want to set fire to her trailer (not with anyone in it of course). Since shes way the hell over in slovenia, i set fire to my neighbors rv instead. Theyll understand once i show them this video

I had already watched the music video and it’s simple, yet really good. The song is underrated, it is a very good effort and it offers some good country vibes. Also, ManuElla is a decent performer and the song itself is something different and refreshing.
