On May 11, wiwibloggs hosted our very own Eurovision party — The Wiwi Jam — at the Hard Rock Café in Stockholm. Eurovision and Melodifestivalen stars turned up and turned out, working our red carpet before singing live on stage. It was a night to remember. And for all y’all heavy drinkers, it may be a night to forget…
One highlight was welcoming teen dream and Swedish Idol winner Lisa Ajax to the stage. A rising star in Sverige, she reached the final of this year’s Melodifestivalen and unexpectedly landed on Sweden’s Eurovision 2016 jury. Lisa’s moment is NOW.
Wiwiblogger Denise managed to grab Lisa on the #WiwiJam red carpet, right before she stepped in to the Hard Rock Café to perform — and before a braying mob of fans surrounded her for selfies.
Lisa made it clear that despite all the hype and opportunity around her she is keen to stay true to herself and craft an accurate image of the Lisa she knows.
“I want to do a lot of stuff,” she says. “Right now I just want to release new music that represents me as an artist. That is what I want to do right now, but I have other plans for the future.”
We first saw Lisa in Lilla Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s own Junior Eurovision, back in 2012. How is that different from the big show itself?
“I was very, very young, and I don’t remember anything actually, because I was so nervous and it was a big deal for me! And this was too, but I remember things now. That’s the biggest difference. Melodifestivalen is just so much bigger”.
At the #WiwiJam Lisa performed her Melodifestivalen entry “My Heart Wants Me Dead”, but she also introduced the audience to her latest single “Give Me That”. If she’s asking, we’re giving. Love you girl!
We can’t wait to see what Lisa has up her sequinned sleeves in the future. No doubt it will be something amazing. We’d say “you go girl” but she already gone! Yassss!
Come back to Melodifestivalen!!! 🙂
She just did her job on jury she was not even original member so fix claims are dumb.

That made my best summer ever! 🙂
(Unrelated, but Daniel Kajmakoski just won the 3rd season of TZLP/ ex-Yugo version of Your Face Sounds Familiar)
Such a prestigious member of the swedish jury…
But she didn’t slay on the jury.
I guess you had to be their right?
