They’re some of Finland’s biggest pop stars and they rose to fame in the LGBT-friendly Eurovision bubble.

So it’s only natural that UMK winners Krista Siegfrids and Softengine are among the acts set to perform in the opening ceremony of the Eurogames, held by the European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF), in Helsinki later this evening. The games coincide with Helsinki Pride, which runs until July 3, filling the capital with plenty of jolly people and laughter.

The Opening Ceremony kicks off in Kansalaistori Square and Krista is beyond excited. She uploaded this image of herself riding a faux pony to get y’all in the mood to party.

Krista, who staged the famous girl-on-girl kiss at Eurovision 2013, hosted Finland’s UMK earlier this year while simultaneously competing in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen.

She’s also made a documentary for Finnish TV about her journey. After a long and hard winter and spring, she’s adding yet another chapter tonight!

Softengine, who sang for Finland at Eurovision 2014, will perform later in the evening.

Judging from Instagram they too are pretty excited…

The parade of Finnish stars doesn’t end there.

Mikael Saari, who we remember from this year’s UMK final, Sandhja, Finland’s Eurovision 2016 act, and Saara Aalto, two-time UMK participant, will also slay.

And then there is Finnish DJ Darude. Surely you all remember his hit “Sandstorm” from a few years back.
