Just six months after she released her last album, Anouk has announced that her next album, “Fake It Till We Die”, will be launched on Friday October 21.
To get us in the mood (quite literally), Anouk has gifted us with a single from the new album, the shamelessly suggestive “Down Daddy Down.”

The beat is slow and dirty; it snakes through you and settles somewhere around your hips. “Down Daddy Down” flaunts Anouk’s sexy side, as she purrs and growls her way through lyrics that probably wouldn’t be approved for Eurovision.
Anouk knows what she wants. She doesn’t ask, she demands: “Down Daddy down daddy daddy go down on me/Talk dirty to me/I’ll tell you how I like it.” The encounter is all about her and she isn’t afraid to let her partner know: “You sure love my legs and what is in between/Spare me the eyes when you’re eating me alive/Just open that mouth and give that tongue some exercise.”

The single appears to be a reworking of “Down Daddy”, which she sang on Dutch TV in November 2014 (skip to the 2:10 mark for the performance).
Anouk also took to Instagram to announce that she will be playing live at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on May 24 next year. The venue, which holds 17,000 concert-goers, has played host to global superstars such as Lady Gaga, Sting and Madonna. No pressure then!

I think “daddy” is just a term of address, I don’t think it’s literal…
