Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Saara Aalto.

Our favourite Finnish Frozen princess has earned her place at the six chair challenge of X Factor UK, after nailing her rendition of Donna Summer’s 70s classic “On the Radio.”

Taking to social media after the episode aired on Sunday, Saara posted her giddy reaction.

This year the competition is as cut-throat as ever, with acts finding out immediately after singing whether or not they will be considered for the six chair challenge. Following her performance on the bootcamp stage, Simon Cowell commented: “I know she’s over the top, but she’s a character.”

X Factor‘s most successful acts usually have the entire package: a killer voice, model looks and a sparkling personality. Simon Cowell and co recognised that Saara has all of these and more (obviously), and put her through for consideration.

After a long and tense deliberation, the acts were split into four groups (two successful, two unsuccessful) and left to await their fate. And of course, the glorious Saara made it through. With a voice like hers, could it have gone any other way?

Although only a snippet of her performance was shown, it was obvious that Saara absolutely worked the stage. With her extensive vocal range on show, she owned every second of airtime she was given. Girl knows how to werk!

Ever grateful for the outpouring of support that she has been receiving during her time on X Factor, Saara acknowledged the fact that she was shown only briefly tonight, and said that she hopes to make her mark next week.

We’ll be waiting with baited breath until next week to see how Saara fares at the dreaded six chair challenge. Oh, the tension…

So just how proud are you of Saara Aalto? Will you be rooting for her next week? We sure will! And do you think she should make another attempt to sing for Finland at Eurovision? Sound off in the comments below!

@Anthony
Ah okay, thank you.
Kinda gutted not to have seen her featured at all, I guess they didn’t think she was interesting enough.

@Mark C
It was 16-25 for Boys and Girls last year. And it’s now been confirmed Bianca hasn’t made it to the Girls nor the Overs (the one Saara’s in) category for the Six Chair Challenge, so she’s definitely gone out of Boot Camp.

@Anthony
Wouldn’t Bianca be in the Over 25s category? I think she’s 25 and I also thought the boys/girls categories were 16-24 yrs.
Maybe I’m just grasping for straws at this point and giving myself false hope.

Bianca’s definitely been eliminated from Boot Camp for those of you wondering where she was.

Oh really? Oops, guess I haven’t been watching closely enough! Hopefully she’ll be featured properly next week.

@Mark C
Apparently people have seen her in the background this week which is why it’s weird that they haven’t properly shown her yet.

We haven’t seen Bianca in any footage in the series, which makes me wonder if the producers quietly kicked her off before boot camp, off screen.

Too much advertisement for a girl who finish second in UMK.

I assume Bianca has been eliminated as if she was still in the competition there’d be articles about how she’s doing much like there are with Saara. Also, for everyone rooting for Saara to represent Finland, you probably should be rooting against her in The X Factor as the better she does in this, the more likely she’ll be to have a successful international career and the less likely she’d be to do Eurovision.

Where is Bianca??

The 6 Chair Challenge is based on the voice: contestants sing and if the judges like them they get one of the six chairs. Even if the chairs are filled, a singer can be removed in place of another. I imagine Saara will sail through, BUT WHERE IS BIANCA??

I think a win could most likely boost her chances to win UMK17 if she participates. But idk, maybe she’s too busy with the x factor that she wont have time to do it this year.

I haven’t really been watching this year, but I still haven’t heard anything about Bianca. Is she still in?
