In September she invited Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Eurovision veteran Deen to perform at her concert in Sarajevo.

And on Wednesday it became clear that British pop star Joss Stone has a thing for Eurovision alums, as it was revealed she’s called on Greta Salome to open her upcoming concert in Iceland.

Sena Live, the company organizing the concert, announced the news on their Facebook page.

On October 30 the Grammy Award winning singer will perform at Harpa, which some of you may remember as the host venue of “Söngvakeppnin” in 2012 and 2013. Greta knows it well: It’s where she and Jonsi qualified for Eurovision with “Never Forget.”

Naturally Greta is over-the-moon about opening for the “You Had Me” singer.

Writing on Facebook she said: “So insanely thrilled and excited to be picked by Joss Stone as the warming up act for her concert in Iceland!”

And she’s in for a real treat.

Speaking exclusively to wiwibloggs in September, Deen said that Joss was a total doll to work with.

“I had the privilege to spend three days with her, to show her our city and culture, and of course sing with this wonderful person,” he said. “She wanted to sing in the Bosnian language and said that she likes ‘Ljubav je’, so we did it! We had so much fun together and I can say that she is such a sweet and down-to-earth person.”

“It’s not that often that a global soul diva and Grammy winner sings a Bosnian Eurovision entry that she likes. We had a great concert and amazing energy.”

Is it time for a Joss-Greta collaboration on “Hear Them Calling”? We think so!
