who will win junior eurovision 2016?

On November 20, seventeen acts from all around Europe (and Australia) will sing-it-out in the final of Junior Eurovision 2016. Valletta’s Mediterranean Conference Centre is going to be the epicentre of the action, but that doesn’t mean you can’t play a part! You can support your favourite by voting in our poll below. Who will win JESC 2016? You tell us!

You’re already very experienced at voting. Way back on October 14 we asked you to pick your favourite among the first 11 acts and Bulgaria came out on top, narrowly edging Russia (see the full results here). But will the actual winner — with all 17 songs revealed — be someone completely new?

You have until November 19 at 17:00 CET to vote in our poll. You can vote for as many acts as you want, but you can vote only ONE time. So make it count! You can watch all of the acts in the playlist below. You can also read all of our reviews by clicking here.

It’s up to you, Europe. Start voting now!

This is the second time in my history of following ESC and JESC (after Kaliopi in 2012) to completely support my country (Macedonia’s) entry. Martija’s singing talents are indeed limitless, that even if she sang a cook book recipe it would sound awesome, and the song, even though average and generic, is perfect for the ESC and JESC audience (let’s be honest, people, we’ve swallowed much worst entries than this int he past). I believe Russia, Italy and Georgia have strong entries as well, but since only juries make the decision this year, I have this strange inexplicable haunting feeling… Read more »

My Top 17: 1. F.Y.R. Macedonia – I listened to this song so many times, it’s contemporary, catchy and Martija’s voice brings it home, good luck to F.Y.R. Macedonia 2. Russia – such a good entry from Russia, I feel like all below Top 3 would be unfair, it’s so good and Sofia’s voice is awesome 3. Serbia – although I think it won’t place this high, I enjoy U La La La very much, Dunja has a powerful voice 4. Malta – it has the quality, it makes you feel good and Christina’s voice slays, well done 5. Bulgaria… Read more »

+Archem. The poll is not hacked. Macedonia is one of the smallest countries in Europe. Who would vote for Macedonia, unless people in Europe really love the song and Martija. Ireland has an authentic entry which is growing on me after having listened to it several times. People vote for Russia too, it’s ranked high.

I think this poll is hacked! How is boring FYR and Ireland winning? I think we need countries such as Russia win!

Honestly my favorites are Georgia and Macedonia. But since it’s jury only, it’s really hard to actually figure out who will win, since we know that the juries tend to favor certain countries(at least in adult eurovision). I’m betting on Malta,Australia, and italy to do very well. Won’t be surprised if Australia wins because of the jury.

There are backing vocals added on the backing track…

Surprised to see Cyprus so high! My favorites are Armenia, Albania, Serbia, Russia, The Netherlands and Italy. Many amazing entries this year. I think Russia will win. F.Y.R. Macedonia stands no chance, even though they have a very good song.

Lots of these songs are generic yet are being eaten up like they’re something super cool and creative. Not the case I don’t think. Mzeo stands out in a class of its own as a brilliant song and a fantastic vocal.

Let’s all see the over-inflated Australia win, after all, there was no music industry in Europe before these guys rocked up.

But realistically, I give my vote to Serbia, Bulgaria and Russia. I like my own country, Ireland too, but of course it probably won’t connect well with people due to it being sung Ás Gaelige, not a lot people outside of Ireland (except for Scotland, who don’t participate anyway) will understand the song.
JESC needs more countries though, it seems to be a struggle every year to get consistent participants.

Poland or Italy. Bulgaria and Russia can get it too. But since the juries are definitely voting for a Western country, I’d be happy with the Netherlands snatching the trophy. Just not Australia, please… that song is horrid.

The views and the polls speak that that the Macedonian entry is the catchiest song ever. The maturity of the Macedonian girl is her advantage. The fact that nobody is indifferent to her, including those who gossip her like old grannies, is due to her charisma. Go Macedonia, go!

Macedonia in the lead.. That song is trash. It wont make the top 5 mark my words. Totally overrated. And she tries too hard to look like a 20 year old with those outfits all that makeup. Isn’t she like 12? Ridiculous. No chance at victory and I’m sure the performance will be underwhelming as well.
