For weeks the Melfest rumour mill has been churning out suspected Melodifestivalen 2017 artists (see here, here, and here for starters). But now Sweden’s SVT has finally separated fact from fiction by confirming the 28 acts who have made it to Europe’s glitziest and sexiest national selection. The line-up includes some of Sweden’s hottest artists, Melfest legends, as well as newcomers. Let’s take a look.

SVT revealed the artists and their song titles in a press conference today. We won’t hear the songs until the rehearsal week of each semi-final in February.

Other than the video gaming console there are many other Nintendo Wii devices are needed to play Nintendo Wii video games as, cordless controlleris among the most crucial accessories. Yet this limitation is also worse for a console like the Switch over. Exactly how about playing those all time classics from the old gaming consoles like the NES as well as the original GameBoy? The DS likewise showcases 802.11 wireless networking for connecting gamers extra close with each other (rather than making use of link-up wires like discovered in earlier handhelds). Feel the worry – The game can be most beneficial, the ‘voices’ might be convincing and
seductive in case you allowed them to be; ‘do it tomorrow, you might be too tired today, ‘wait till
you feel more motivated’, ‘you defintely won’t be good at it’, ‘you won’t ever really succeed’ etc.
For those individuals who be familiar with motorcycles, it might be easier for them to choose a motorcycle that has great steering control while providing maximum

Alexis, A statement such as “Eurovision song is meant to give you chills” doesn’t exist. It’s not a matter of fact, it’s a opinion. Eurovision means different things for different people. Not everyone is looking or wishing for songs that gives you the chills.

Frans wasn’t for ESC, no. Which is what made it stand out and what made it good. It was a very good current radio hit song.
Songs that try to “be made for ESC” and done by the numbers risk ending up being to familiar. Just look at UK and Ireland who still struggle with this.

@Alexis – I think THAT actually was the reason why I liked “If I Was Sorry”. It was so innovative and different in ESC terms. I seldom like songs that sounds too obviously “made for ESC”. And it came 5th, which proved Sweden can come 5th with songs which are not bad schlagers 🙂 It was very “chill” and relaxed indeed….I loved the groove and the driving beat

Alexis

I’m relieved that someone like Frans isn’t on this year’s line-up. I like Frans’s song, but I didn’t feel that it was Eurovision material, it was too relaxing and chill. A Eurovision song is supposed to give you chills, not bore you. This is the second Melodifestivalen I am going to follow (I am an American, so I almost never have the opportunity to hear anything about Eurovision), and I have to say that this is the best line-up yet. I’m praying that Loreen won’t disappoint, as I still listen to “Euphoria” and “My Heart is Refusing Me”. I am… Read more »

Based on what we know now i think Loreen and Mariette have the best chanche of winning, i think Ace her style won’t be as much appreciated as the years before. Sad to see that Molly Pettersson Hammar isnt on the list, also expected Dolly Style to be there.

1. Mariette (Those vocals are real!)
2. Loreen (Sure she’ll deliver)
3. The other 26 acts

Wow! Nice lineup! Loreen came of out left field! No doubt she’ll make MelFest final, but not convinced yet she’s going to win the thing. So pleased to see Jon Henrik again! Love his style and voice. (Let’s see how that collaboration goes!) Hope he can take the crown, but he’s got some stiff competition from the ladies! Love to see Sweden go to ESC with non-English song, but foreign juries will snuff that out. 🙁

@Jonas
Molly was favorite because insiders said the song was great and she was last act out. But there’s a big difference between Loreen and Molly, Molly is a basic boring singer while Loreen is a true artist, she knows how to make a number while Molly just made a bad Euphoria copy in her performance.

I would like to see Charlotte Perrelli at least make Andra Chansen. I’m glad “The Girl” isn’t the end of her Melfest career – it’s a wonderful song, but she flubbed her lines and ended 5th in her heat, so yeah, not great. If she at least gets her lyrics right this time I guess it will be an improvement. Let’s all learn the lesson on hype from 2016 – Molly SandĂ©n was tipped to come out on top, and we know how that worked out for her. Remember that until we hear the songs, nobody knows anything. Not the… Read more »
