One year ago he won the sixth season of Danse avec les Stars.
And on Saturday night Loïc Nottet — Belgium’s Eurovision 2015 star — returned to the show as a special guest, joining one of the competing couples as they performed their modern interpretation of Beyoncé’s “Running”.
This week each couple was paired with a former DALS competitor to perform as a threesome. Loïc lent his many talents to Laurent Maistret — a model and winner of Koh Lanta, the French version of Survivor — and Denitsa Ikonomova, the professional dancer he partnered with last year as he slayed performances including one to Sia’s “Chandelier”.

On Saturday the trio delivered a stirring rendition of Beyoncé’s hit, earning a standing ovation from the judges and the audience. Blown away by their performance and their technique, the judges awarded them 74 points out of 80, putting them well ahead of their competitors.
His moves may be supple, but Loïc is tough: During his performance he injured his big toe so badly that it started bleeding, but he kept on moving. His perseverance helped Laurent and Denitsa secure a place in next week’s semi-finals. Bien joué!
The 20-year-old Belgian singer, who recently released the single “Million Eyes”, seemed very happy to be back on the show. And his fans were even more delighted, taking to social media to express their love. Let there be no doubt: Loïc is one of the most iconic and beloved contestants in the history of Danse avec les Stars!
