Depi Evratesil Iveta Mukuchyan

Iveta Mukuchyan closed out Eurovision 2016 with her performance of “LoveWave”. Now, she’s closing out the year with a victory in a wiwibloggs poll, as you guys think she is the Depi Evratesil judge who gave the best performance at Eurovision. Say it with me now: Slaaaaaaaay kweeeeeen!

Each of Armenia’s six judges previously competed at Eurovision. So back in October we ran through their performances once more and asked you to vote for your favourites. With Armenia set to choose their singer on Christmas Eve, we can now reveal the results…

In total our readers cast 1,225 votes — and Iveta received a whopping 599 of them, putting her well clear of her rivals. We can totally understand why, too. Iveta’s performance in Stockholm oozed sex appeal, whilst being a production marvel. Some amazing camera work blended with holograms made this stand out even amongst an already technically impressive field.

It was a much closer fight for second, though. Eurovision 2014 entrant Aram MP3 edged out Inga and Anush by just five votes. Inga appeared again as the fourth place finisher, alongside Essai, with Genealogy’s “Face the Shadow”, whilst Hayko brought up the rear with just 3% of the final vote.

RESULTS

1. Iveta Mukuchyan — LoveWave (2016): 49% (599 votes)
2. Aram MP3 — Not Alone (2014): 21% (263 votes)
3. Inga and Anush — Jan Jan (2009): 21% (258 votes)
4. Genealogy (Inga & Essai) — Face the Shadow (2015): 6% (69 votes)
5. Hayko — Anytime You Need (2007): 3% (36 votes)

Iveta may have defeated her fellow judges in this poll, but she hasn’t been able to do that on Depi Evratesil.

Going in to the final on December 24, only two acts remain. Anush is represented by Marta, whilst Essai has Artsvik. Which judge will be victorious? Make sure to keep checking back on wiwibloggs to find out!

Did you vote for Iveta’s performance, or do you think that another judge was stronger? Let us know your thoughts on the results in the comments below!

@Polegend- Iveta was great but I do remember how amazed I was when I heard the live version of Jan Jan. It was hands down one of the best performances of the night.

Yeah just because those hunties are 14 and don’t remember how spectacular the Jan Jan performance was. Iveta was just standing there and acting like Beyoncé with arthritis, her performance was not the tea.
