Georgia are set to host their biggest ever national final on January 20. And the focus on size continues in our poll. Back in December we asked you who should win Georgia’s national final. The results are in and, after counting a staggering 19,876 votes, we can now reveal that Tako Gachechiladze is your favourite to win the contest with her song “Keep The Faith”. Next stop Eurovision 2017 in Ukraine?

Tako previously won Georgia’s national final in 2009, as part of the group Stefane & 3G.

The group never got to Eurovision though, after their song “I Don’t Want To Put In” was disqualified for political content.

Now Tako is back and she’s on top of the polls once again. She received 2,859 votes (or 14% of the total), putting her convincingly in first place. Our Wiwi Jury might have put her in the middle of the pack, but y’all see her as a frontrunner ahead of the Friday showdown.

The Mins finished in second place with their song “Crime”, receiving 2,079 votes — around 11% of the total.

The group have picked up support elsewhere too, including international A-lister Moby and Nina Sublatti. The band said in our interview that they want to use Eurovision to “spread our message to be guardians”.

If our votes have their way, they might just get the chance!

Third place in the poll goes to Maliibu and her song “We Live Once”.

This pink-haired diva preaches empowerment and voters are flocking to her side. She received 1,804 votes or 9% of all those cast.

She also placed just outside the top five with our Wiwi Jury. Could she be a contender on Friday night?

This NF is so big and messy. Come on don’t let us down Georgia! Choose Trio Mandili!

She’s my favorite. I feel like the live version of her song will be even more powerful.

Eurovision needs bands. Hope that bands will win in Georgia and Belarus tomorrow. And funny is, that Jesc fanatic keeps fingers only to female in every national final 😀 this people only wants to destroy esc

Tako is overrated. Her song sounds promising at first, but then it doesn’t do much. I can’t believe it that Elene finished next-to-last. “Fighter” is really good, it’s such a pity she won’t be able to perform it in Kyiv if she wins.

Nino is BY FAR the best choice. With the right staging she will qualify with EASE and could reach the top 10

Honestly, there are just too many songs in this NF considering the poor quality of most of them. There should have been maybe 10 songs in the final.

Not really my favourite. I’d rather see someone else winning in Georgia. Her song is not good enough for ESC. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for Asea Sool – their song is very unique and I hope it will sound well live too.

@An esc fan

The Mins song is just more filler. It’s completely uninspiring.

The Mins must win, no other choice will represent Georgia better.
Please Georgia don’t ruin this, you always did it your way without being cheesy, The Mins are the best choice.

Eww, why? This song was nothing but filler music. Even if Celine Dion had no self awareness she wouldn’t sing a song this over the top.
