The last time we heard from team Cyprus, Hovig was about to head into the studio with Swedish maestro Thomas G:son. Now it seems their collaboration has produced a song — and Hovig has dropped a hint regarding the song title. It’s making fans think of Lidia Isac’s staging from Stockholm.
Hovig posted a video to social media giving one clue to the song title: an astronaut’s helmet.
Can you guess the title of our #Eurovision entry? Here's your first hint. pic.twitter.com/3FfRY5JkOl

This immediately made fans think of Lidia Isac’s dancing astronaut, the centre of the staging for her “Falling Stars” performance in Stockholm. Eurovision 2016 also had the celestially titled “Made of Stars” from the celestially named Hovi Star.
And possibly on a similar theme is this year’s Montenegro entry, which will go by the name of “Space”. Not much is known about the song that Slavko Kalezic will perform in Kyiv, but it seems likely to either be about outer space or, er, the gaps between objects.
Fans could also look to the pop charts for inspiration. Last year The Weeknd had an international hit with his song “Starboy” — though that was more about fame than outer space.
Hovig at Eurovision 2017
In October last year, broadcaster CyBC confirmed that Hovig would be representing the Eastern Mediterranean nation at Eurovision 2017. It was also announced that Swedish songwriter Thomas G:son would again write the song for Cyrus. This follows his work co-writing Minus One’s entry “Alter Ego” in 2016.
Earlier this week, Hovig shared photos from Sweden, showing himself and Thomas G:son hard at work in the studio. While the song production may still be a work in progress, it seems they have at least settled on a title.
A release date for Hovig’s song has not been confirmed, but the song is expected to be released some time later in February.
What do you think Hovig’s song will be called? Should be borrow Lidia Isac’s astronaut? Sound off below!

Most likely it would be something with “stars” for me. But you never know. Apart from “stars”, it would be “sky”, “space”, or sth like @Yudhistira Mahasena proposed, a phrase refering to this clue.
“Out of this world”
Imagine if his song was called “Astronaut’s Helmet”.
