It’s one of the highlights of the Eurovision pre-party season, and as national selection season draws to a close, the London Eurovision Party has already been announcing acts that will appear at its tenth anniversary edition in April. Since late Februay, eleven acts from all over Europe have been announced, and the latest additions are Frances Alma and Denmarks Anja Nissen

London Eurovision Party 2017 acts

Anja’s appearance marks Denmark’s return to London after three years away from the preview party. Alma on the other hand marks France’s second consecutive year at the preview party, after Amir wowed the audience with “J’ai Cherché” back in 2016.

Other appearances from the class of 2017 include Germanys LevinaPolands Kasia MosMalta’s Claudia Faniello and the United Kingdoms Lucie Jones.

It isn’t just lovely ladies in the lineup in London though. Austrias Nathan Trent will serve adorable guitar-pop realness, Spains Manel Navarro is bringing the Iberian fire to the stage and Italy‘s Francesco Gabbani follows up on Francesca Michielin’s appearance at the party last year.

Former Eurovision Winner Double-Bill

If any of this year’s acts want advice on how to win Eurovision, they’ll be in luck as not one, but two former winners are already signed up to appear as guest acts on stage. Ireland’s Linda Martin – who won the contest in 1992 with Johnny Logan penned entry “Why Me” – will be back in action, as will Ukraine’s 2004 winner Ruslana.

Can I still get a ticket?

A final batch of tickets will be released around two weeks before the event, so keep your eyes peeled to make sure you’re in position once those tickets go live. The party takes place on Sunday April 2nd live at the Cafe de Paris in London.

True on some occasions, last year didn’t deserve 2nd bottom in public vote! Worse than likes of Georgia for example? Really?

Remember Molly? – 1 of the best that year but not according to the voting.

Even when we did well with jade we got beaten by Tek Tek dum dum or whatever it was called!

Russian Grannies did well ffs- it really says it all!!

The UK holding another Eurovision event to be killed by the voting – why do we even try anymore. However, we (The UK) will continue to fund the Eurovision, hold events to promote Eurovision in the biggest Music Industry in Europe to be given Nil Points. Cyprus will give Greece 12 points, Sweden will get 12 points from Finland etc etc – lets pull our funding and not be part… Read more »
