levina unser song 2017 live

She soared through the marathon German national selection in February and battled it out with Austria’s Nathan Trent live on Schlagercountdown. But Germany’s Levina didn’t stop there. Instead she took her promo tour international, with appearances in Tbilisi, London, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam to promote her track “Perfect Life”.

In her latest tour stop, the German starlet has travelled to Armenia and the country’s capital Yerevan for a two-day promo tour.

As well as meeting multiple Armenian media outlets, Germany’s Eurovision 2017 act is taking time to experience Yerevan and Armenian culture.

She’ll visit the Komitas Museum Institute – an art museum dedicated to Armenian composer Komitas – and students of the Tumo creative technologies center, a digital media learning center for students aged 12-18.

Levina will also meet Armenian Eurovision fans, discover Armenian history and meet Armenia’s Eurovision 2017 act Artsvik, who Eurofans will remember challenged Levina as part of her Armenian folk song challenge.

We’re still waiting for Levina to do a cover of Artsvik’s stylish top-knot…

Having such a good time in beautiful Yerevan at the Cascade ???????????? And I met a lovely fat cat ????

With the promotion season now drawing to an end, Levina’s focus will be on the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv on May 13.

During the past two years Germany has finished last in the field. Last year Jamie-Lee managed to win eleven points: 8 from Switzerland and 2 from Austria in the televote, and a further 1 point from Georgia’s jury. Her last-place finish — perhaps the result of staging that seemed completely alien to the song — wasn’t exactly a surprise.

During SVT’s Eurovision 2016 pre-show, wiwibloggers William and Deban singled Germany out as the act they felt would most struggle to make an impression.

In 2015 Ann Sophie finished dead list with nil points. Let’s hope lovely Levina avoids that fate.

Instead of promoting a stupid American song in all these countries, this autumn Germany should go to these ex soviet countries to find an original song, but no, next year Germany will have an US-UK-Swedish song, very bad of course, and will spend a lot of money to promote it. Germany will never learn. North-West is dead, but in 2018 they will buy a new dead song that will need expensive promotion.

this song rips off Aleksandra Kovac’s Young and Wild as well as Titanium. At least Spain is an original dirge.

Armenians usually show mutual respect and compassion. They did it for Ira Lasco last year and so they will for Germany this year.

Russia was in a different semi final to Armenia anyway, so they couldn’t help with qualification. But now we know who the Azeri jury will mark 24th ????

Now that Russia has forced to withdraw from ESC, Levina can feel relieved as she wouldn’t lose any precious points that were about to be given to her (by Russia..) hehe.. : P But Armenia will gonna lose many points though, from both Russia’s televote & the juries, that would gonna vote for Artsvik.. (Belarus will also be affected too..) We will see if Russia’s withdrawal will might gonna cost to Armenia & Belarus even their own qualifications to the Final.. (As, IF Armenia or Belarus would allegedly gonna finish 10th on the SF,with only few points away from elimination,… Read more »

Ron: You are obviously Armenian. How was Armenia underrated in 2014, 2015 and 2016 JESC? It finished 3rd, 2nd and 2nd. I will say that overall they were overrated–bringing the same type of euroasian pop year after year at JESC. They definitely put an effort in their entries, but the artistic effort is only about 50% of it. The political effort is definitely at par. Of course, with only 16 counties voting, and every single year getting 12 points from Georgia, JESC is much better to manage politically than ESC… Anyway, I like the Armenian entries and applaud their commitment… Read more »

She definitely shouldn’t be placed last, I hope she will have good staging. Nice to see her promoting in all these countries, good luck Levina <3

@Marc – Ira Lasco finished 4th with the juries last year overall. So, it’s not strange that the Armenian juries gave it 7 points. It’s not like Malta finished last and Armenia was one of the few countries that voted for it.

@ErvinSass – Right, because that’s enough to get points.

@Aqua Azure – Armenia’s success in Eurovision and in Junior Eurovision in recent years has to do with the fact that the country’s broadcaster heavily invests in it. They take their jobs seriously and if anything, in my opinion Armenia was absolutely underrated last year and in 2014 in both ESC and JESC. And another look between Armenia’s and Georgia’s voting pattern will reveal that Georgian jury gave Armenia 0 points in last year’s ESC and only 7 in JESC whereas the Armenian entrant finished 2nd.

It’s all in vain, she traveled for nothing. Who would vote such a dreadful song?

No shade but I think this tour is a waste of money. That song absolutely isn’t worth all these coins, because it’s objectively not going far.

(Btw) Switzerland’s ogae club has voted.
Here their top10:
~ (1) point goes to Hungary
~ (2) points go to Fyr
~ (3) points go to Israel
~ (4) points go to Finland
~ (5) points go to Portugal
~ (6) points go to Estonia (Slay #Verona<3)
~ (7) points go to Sweden
~ (8) points go to France
~ (10) points go to Belgium
~ (12) points go to Italy

Germany is one of the unlucky countries
that i predict that will finish with 0 nul points
in the ogae voting poll this year..
(Better luck next year..)

Well, Armenia’s success in recent years is at least partially due to it handling the political game right… The 12 point exchanges with Georgia, particularly at JESC, but not only there, the regional vote from the rest of the ex-republics… no with Russia no longer in view at least for this year, it looks like a good time to bring some new alliances… Especially with a country which is not a contender for a top place this year… Politics, politics…..

Hey guys. I love this song. I’m from Italy and love her song, simple looks and finesse. I ask myself about my taste in music as not many people like this song. For the same reason I also likeSlovenia’s Song too which most people don’t !!!

I think that Germany will might avoid finishing again last
for 3rd year in row (so they will vote for Levina out of ”pity”
so for her to not finish 26th or even with nul 0 points..)
but i don’t think that Germany is alive to finish above the top20 in Kiev..
A top15 result is of course 0% likely..
(Let alone a top10 result!)
Germany is (currently) 35th in my top42..

Her tour schedule seems a little random to me. First, she is in Georgia, then she travels back to Europe and now she’s back in Transcaucasia. Germany might not collect many points in the actual Eurovision Song Contest this year, but we’re second to none in the frequent-flyer program.

Worth posting. I hope she does well, even with her average song. Her personality is great.
