She lost out to Irish twins Jedward on X Factor — and now she’s following them in their footsteps to Eurovision. But before jetting off to Kyiv for her rehearsals next week, the United Kingdom’s Lucie Jones filmed an appearance on the Graham Norton Show. It will air on Friday evening.

The Welsh stunner joins the list of UK representatives — from Electro Velvet to Joe and Jake — who have performed their Eurovision entries. After her performance she also had a quick chat with Graham — best known as the UK’s grand final commentator.

Since the revamped version was released last month, Lucie has performed “Never Give Up On You” at the London Eurovision Party and Eurovision In Concert. And just like her national final performance at Eurovision: You Decide, she has continued to do what she does best — werking those emotions through her vocals.

Also appearing on the show with Lucie are Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn, stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer, and actors Orlando Bloom and John Boyega.

We caught up with the Cardiff-born singer at both the London and Amsterdam preview events, where she talked about everything from West End stardom to Eurovision 2013 winner Emmelie de Forest to the fact she will always keep the romantic story behind her song a closely guarded secret. Apparently Lucie’s dad recommends the 7th Heaven remix of “Never Give Up On You”.

Thanks for the notice, but I’m sad that Eurovision in the UK has basically become a Graham Norton vehicle. We won’t see her on any other shows than his.
