On Thursday Bulgaria qualified for the grand final of Eurovision for the second straight year.

And today the “Beautiful Mess” continued for the country’s singer Kristian Kostov with the release of his official remix.

Joining forces with noted remix maestro Baron Grand, Kristian stretches the song to 3:25 minutes, so y’all can enjoy a little bit more of this thoughtful piece of pop (and tap your foot while you do it). Count us in!

The structure of the song remains pretty much the same, and it retains the darkness and mystery of the original.

From the soul of his voice to the electro beat, every note pulses — and with the most subtle of ethnic touches.

Young Kristian, who is currently narrowing on Italy to become second favourite to win Eurovision 2017, is emerging as quite the little pop star. This remix suggests his range is vast and we’re looking forward to even more club mixes when he’s a fully-fledged adult.

After Poli Genova’s big success in Stockholm, it’s now Kristian’s time to shine.

Following her fourth place finish, Eurovision fans wondered who on earth BNT would select — and most doubted that anyone could replicate Poli’s success.

But now young Kristian is among the favourites to win the trophy in tomorrow’s Grand Final. Most of us agree that he likely won Semi-Final 2 and he’s poised to snap up the Russian diaspora vote. (For the record, his mother is Kazakh and his father is Bulgarian. This dude is global.)

On Friday the X Factor alum won our poll for favourite male soloist at Eurovision 2017. Should he win Eurovision over his male rivals and fellow favourites Robin Bengtsson, Francesco Gabbani and Salvador Sobral, few of our readers would complain.

He will perform in spot number 25 — that’s the next-to-last position just before France.

What do you think about this official remix? Can this version make it to the radio? Let us know in the comments!

I will remind you all what happend last year… Russia was favourite to win, but in the end Australia won the juries vote, Russia won the televote and Ukraine gathered the most points by the two and won the contest. So until the end we cant be sure what will happen! I am betting on Bulgaria this year! Good luck!

Hahah you seems to be very stupid for this logic ! Are you ukrainian? Bulgaria is not Russia. Russia never supported Bulgaria in Eurovision and Bulgaria have never won the contest…so I think it is about time with such a strong song

Paul, this logic is not stupid. You’re fool if you think differently. Do you know that Kristian has russian citizenship and considers himself to be russian? Do you know that he attends school in Moscow? Do you know that this arrogant child boasted to smash the trophy in pieces in St. Petersburg if he wins the Eurovision?
I’m happy he lost! This will be a lesson to him!

I vote for the best singer/song regardless where he or she is born, what is the color of the skin, the age, sexual orientation or any other divisive line drawn by haters. And for me, Kris is the best. Go Kris, you will do it!

You are watching too much TV bro, check under your bed, there might be Russian there too! Darn Russians are everywhere these days. I heard Salvador`s grandpa was a Russian spy to Portugal in the 60s, you know that? Also Jamala was born in the USSR, so what do you know Russia is winning 2 years in a row 🙂

But Belgium is a mess on stage. I do like the Song but I don’t want a bad Performance like Blanches win the Contest just because the Song is hyped. My Opinion.. Bulgaria is cute. He does well beside his Young age. It’s not my personal favourite but I think he’ll do well and I wish him all the best!

May be. Salvador came late to the show and never did the pre-parties. People probably wonder who is that guy coming from nowhere and overshadowing Italy. This does not mean they will vote for him:-) In anycase, we will know soon enough. I think Portugal counts its chickens before they have hatched. Bulgaria has been through winner hypes before including at JESC and they have learned the lesson and do not overhype themselves.

Bulgaria doesn’t overhype? Are you kidding me? The kid acts as if he has already won. Salvador, on the other hand, just said to Portuguese TV he doesn’t think he will win.

I think that both Salvador and Kristian will be great winners, with my personal preference leaning somewhat towards Kristian. They plus Armenia are my final top three. I certainly do not think that Kris acts as if he has won. But he and Bulgaria are putting up a fight and I have to admire that this 17 years old kid had the talent to pull this performance, show the vocals and stage presence of a musician of a great caliber, creating his own style and atmosphere, while at the same time singing perfectly, doing his choreography and staying emotionally connected… Read more »

Downloaded both remixes sounds better as i think the normal version is far too slow for me . Not my fave this year but its a good strong song and ill think he will win because of running order the 2 other faves are too early on .
