They didn’t manage to fight their way to the top as “Soldiers of Love” at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm.

But earlier this month Martin Skriver — one-third of the now defunct boy band Lighthouse X — won another battle, as he married his long-term girlfriend Lea Palme Malinovsky at a romantic ceremony at the Christian Church in Fredericia.

The couple had been engaged since the 30-year-old singer and actor fell to his knees in May last year.

Eurovision fans would have recognised several of the stars on the guest list.

Attending the wedding were Martin Skriver’s former brothers in arms Johannes Nymark and Søren Bregendahl, both of whom looked every inch the star.

Johannes opted for a laid-back-but-chic look in a funky blue button up with navy tie, while Søren went for a more classic, but still decidedly trendy, navy suit with dark knitted tie.

Søren shared a picture of the three smiling and standing close together at the nuptial.

“My buddy Martin just got married with beautiful Lea..love it,” he wrote in the caption, adding the hashtags #reunion and #soldiersoflove.

The trio decided to part ways in August 2016 following their unsuccessful participation in Eurovision, which saw them fail to reach the grand final.

Despite their happy reunion at the wedding, a musical reunion is not on the cards as they have been busy with other projects since their amicable split.

Johannes hosted the 2017 version of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and has also starred in musicals, while newlywed Martin is currently starring in the musical theatre production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Søren has been lying somewhat low, but, as is evident on his Instagram profile, he is enjoying plenty of travel and remains committed to the vegan lifestyle, which he regularly promotes with pictures of his meals and his impressive physique.

It’s nice to see that while a group may come to an end, the friendships can live on!

Soldiers of Love was a great song IMO. A definite qualifier and I was thinking Top 10. Denmark is usually a favourite of mine most years.

Congrats! Nice 🙂

I wonder what that user who said ESC was a “gay show” that straight singers should not enter, because it was only for gay people think…it’s incredible how arrogant / narrow minded and silly some people can be!
