On November 26, sixteen acts from across Europe and Australia will battle it out in the final of Junior Eurovision 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The European Broadcasting Union recently announced a new worldwide online voting system launching November 24. But we can’t wait until then to hear who you think should win JESC 2017. And maybe you can’t wait either!

So have your say by voting for your favourite act in our annual JESC winner’s poll below.

You have until November 24 to vote. You can vote for as many acts as you want, but you can vote only ONE time. So make it count! You can also keep an eye on our Wiwi Jury reviews and ratings of each act by clicking here.

POLL: WHO SHOULD WIN JUNIOR EUROVISION 2017?

[polldaddy poll=”9873169″]

Junior Eurovision 2017 voting

Voting will start on Friday 24th November via the junioreurovision.tv website. Viewers will be able to vote from anywhere in the world. So for those outside of Europe who are normally unable to vote in either the Junior Eurovision or Eurovision, then here’s a chance to finally have a say!

On the official website, voters will be shown a preview of each of the 16 performances. In August it was stated there would also be an option to watch longer one-minute clips of each participant’s rehearsals. There is no mention of this in yesterday’s video, so it remains to be seen if this is still the case.

Viewers will then be able to vote for either three, four or five of their favourite entries. If a viewer only like one or two of the songs, then they will have to have to choose one or two others to vote for as well.

Perhaps most surprisingly, viewers will be allowed to vote for their own country. This is most likely because of the technical limits involved in preventing such an issue when using an online system. The EBU may believe that if everyone votes for their own country then it could cancel each other out.

However, the decision hasn’t gone down particularly well with fans, with the majority of comments below the YouTube video noting the possible unfair advantage this gives to those countries with higher population sizes. Who knows, maybe Dmitry Shepelev’s 2015 voting gag could now become a reality!

I agree with you, I love love Georgia’s entry, and I actually like Malta as well, but you know what my main two are Georgia and Armenia, even though Malta, Russia, and Belarus have a good chance as well, Georgia definitely could win because they’ve picked everything right this time, the singer, the song, his voice is so beyond his years, he could be a contender, and wouldn’t be shocked,
so he gets a vote from the Up and Armenia Malta and some others as well.

Well, it seems my comment wasn’t published becuase of some internet/web failure that happens sometimes to me. In that comment I talked about how some countries are determined to send year after year boring and dated ballads sung by 8-12 yr old childs who don’t fit the song (Italy, Albania, Poland, Georgia,…). There are also some bland and cheesy or just annoying entries (Serbia, Portugal,…). Fortunately, we have some great songs from Belarus, Russia, FYR Macedonia or Ireland. But tbh, I only see Belarus or Russia winning. Having said that, this is my top (which nobody is goign to read,… Read more »

for some reason Georgia and Armenia have been the songs i have pretty much really liked, and I don’t think its rigged, I respect your opinion and I partly agree, but they really do have a nice song, and its definitely winning material, and with Georgia’s song its definitely a song for the adult Eurovision, and it isn’t as boring. but like you said I love Russia and Belarus, and I agree they could take the win and it would be well deserved, I really am surprised you ranked Georgia at number 9 though

It’s hard to explain but since Armenians love junior eurovision and love watching you would think a lot of them love to vote on the polls and Georgians aswell which would make you think it’s rigged but really isn’t as much as you think, I personally love Georgia and armenias entry’s throughout the years apart from certain songs, but they deserve to do well, people should vote for them, and I hope they either get top 2 or either of them win the contest, I would vote for them hear in the Uk and I’ve voted for them quite alot… Read more »

From my experience watching Wiwi polls for ESC and JESC, the Georgian or Armenian surge tends to happen early in the voting period. By the time of the actual contest, other countries often take the lead.

Top 16 from Ireland 1. Malta – Love the interaction and the message really comes across. 2. Russia – Wow! Fantastic song. Music video is underwhelming. 3. Armenia – The double key change is fantastic. Definitely top 3. 4. Poland – Fantastic key change/song. What a voice. 5. Australia – Inspiring. She can sing live as well. 6. Ireland – I just had to give home support. Muireann just slays. 7. Belarus – Took me quite a while to relate but it’s a good song. 8. Georgia – Grigol owns that Stevie Wonder vibe but it’s nothing new. 9. Cyprus… Read more »

I don’t understand why Italy is higher than Ukraine. tbh, Italy lacks personality and lacks presence when you hear it. Compared to Ukraine or Albania. Italy is meh.My 1-8 are interchangeable don’t care who wins as long as they are the top 8. But seeing the overratedness of Italy I can’t help but see it coming in the top 10. Portugal’s song is good seriously you guys are taken aback by the lyrics, it’s as cringey as Belarus saying I am this… blah blah. The melody and rhythm is very good and refreshing comparing it to the songs like Russia,… Read more »
