The Junior Eurovision 2017 slogan is #ShineBright. And on Monday evening this year’s contestants — and their delegations — did just that inside the gorgeous National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

Marc Mingels — our special photography correspondent for JESC this year — attended the event and captured the contestants as they chatted with Junior Eurovision 2017 winner Mariam Mamadashvili and participated in the running order draw. If you’re a fan of his photography, you can visit his web site for more.

Rezo Mamsikashvili — our Georgian blogger who lives in Tbilisi — was also very busy last night. He kept our Instagram stories coming thick and fast, and has updated countless candids for you to enjoy.

Be sure to follow the @wiwibloggs Instagram account to get closer to the action on-the-ground.

Rezo also filmed a few interviews, which we’ll upload to our YouTube channel later today.

So nice the children having their moment. BTW is Timur everywhere? A few days ago he was in Moldova. Not that is a bad thing to be everywhere, if Mans can, why not him too? After all…he learned from Mans when the three Ukrainian hosts were taking advice from him in that sketch. I hope Timur will find a way to be in Portugal too, no irony, maybe he can be Ukrainian HOD (like Edoardo Grassi) someday.

It was so cute when Kodra was singing along to “Mzeo”. Funny thing was, I was too. Couldn’t help myself. 🙂
