She finished as runner-up on the most recent series of The Voice: la plus belle voix.
And in a few days time Lucie Vagenheim will go for gold once more as she competes in the semi-finals of Destination Eurovision.
Lucie, who from a young age has dance, sung and performed in the theatre, delivered a haunting performance of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” during her blind audition, leading judges Mika and Florent Pagny to turn their chairs almost instantly.
Lucie also has a YouTube channel where she performs covers of songs like Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” and Woodkid’s “I Love You”.
In both instances she manages to put a new spin on the tracks, delivering them with heart, clear English and that beautiful voice.
Her Destination Eurovision entry “My World” is her debut single and, in keeping with previous songs in the selection, sounds thoroughly contemporary and now.
#Lucie?

In the snippet she asks listeners: “Are you ready for my world, to enter my heart, are you ready for my world?”
YES WE ARE!
It’s clear that Lucie is a true Eurovision fan: In her video she speaks of regularly watching the show with her mother and being absolutely mad for Sweden’s staging.

This sounds generic af
Yep sounds like a Melfest entry. The kind that never gets into Melfest finals in Sweden.
She has a lovely voice, but the snippet is the least special of everything that has come so far. It’s by no means bad, but suffers from being a little generic sounding. Not a fan of both songs released Wednesday. Hoping Thursday will bring something better!
I wonder if Sasha who sung ‘alive’ (who was almost internally selected instead of amid) will be in the selection
I don’t like this one, it’s too generic and I feel like I’ve heard a thousands sounds like that 🙁
Wow! Another familiar face for me. I remember Lucie in the Voice. She is amazing!
That is one more fresh, current tune. I like it.
France finally turned to modern, contemporary sounds and talented performers. Also, I appreciate the fact that they choose artists from the Voice, because there have been so many good singers and performers since the beginning.
It will be one of the best national finals of the season!
I love this artist
My top 3 of french final actually: – 1:/ Madame Monsieur – 2:/ Lucie Vagenheim – 3:/ June The Girl But we are waiting Lisandro , Alexe, Nassi and Jane Constance entries. They can send masterpieces 😉
This sounds too much like a Melodifestivalen entry to me. The Eurovision fan audience will like it, but I’m not convinced the French public will.
The rest of the song will be in french so maybe it will appeal to the public too. Anyway, 50% of the final result will be determined by international jury so we will see…
Yeah, I agree. But it’s only a snippet, so maybe the remaining parts are more “organic”, like in “J’ai cherché”.
sounding like a melfest entry is not a bad thing!!!!!! melfest is the reference for the national selection maybe destination eurovision will overpass it but I love Melfest too
The girl is in it to slay and she will. GO Lucie!
Seriously guys, now I am just wondering why they haven’t done Destination Eurovision way EARLIER, there is so much quality in french music industry. And gosh there are still 8 songs to listen…
If the production is on point, this could be a january Melfest (just what the fandom needed haha). And as a french I just want to say to Edoardo “Please never leave us”.
Edoardo is just saving us. I think it’s his dream to do a french Melfest.
The best so far of French national final <3
She was stunning in The Voice and she could do very well !
