Fan favourite and perennial contender Erica Jennings withdrew from Lithuania’s Eurovizijos atranka 2018 earlier this month, citing the “cringeworthy” judging panel, which includes people with less Eurovision experience than her.

But producers at LRT know that the show must go on and have now revealed all of the acts participating in the national selection. There are a total of 47 entries this year, but seven have already been eliminated.

Below we’re sharing all of the songs that have been revealed thus far. We follow that up with a list of all the artists who will be competing (but have not yet revealed their songs).

The real Nancy Aura

I, as the actual Nancy Aura they speak of, can confirm that this entrance is fake. Someone was messing with the Wikipedia at the time and no one noticed to remove it. I suspect it was someone from Berlin, CT (yes, an American troll!) as the Wiki editor’s ‘username’ by IP said so.

Whoever got excited over this act, I’m sorry to say that it’s 100% a Wiki hoax. And I’m sad to see the article writer got to put it through without questioning its inclusion’s realness.

Many ballads so far in the Lithuanian selection.

I have to say I’ve listened to “Broken Shadows” when the audio came out but now that I’ve heard it again, I like it more. It’s a pretty good song with potential.
I also like “Turn it up”, becuase it’s up-beat and it would fit well on the Eurovision stage. “When we’re old” seems simple to me, but the performance was really beautiful. I can’t say I like the song but I like the presentation.

For the Lithuanian selection, I don’t have any doubt, my vote is for Benas and “My memories”, impressive performance! *-*

I’m really looking forward Gabrielus Vagelis’s entry. “Feel Myself Free” was my winner last year. The lyrics were a bit touching and his voice is so special… Hope he brings something even better.

Twosome – “Hello” was very interesting! In their song they are saying “Hello” in 35 different languages. Have someone heard ‘Hello” in his language? 🙂

I’m so happy to see that Rugile is returning! She is such a kind, loving and generous person. I can’t wait to hear her song, it has a beautiful title. Also super curious if it’ll be similar to her song last year, which I think was absolutely amazing.

Wiwibloggs encoding problems strike even articles!

Kinda embarassing that website dedicated ostensibly to the international music cannot display any character outside of ISO 8859-1 correctly…
