They may have been competitors at Eurovision 2017, but Norwegian DJ JOWST and Austrian singer Nathan Trent shared plenty of good times at the competition and ahead of that on the campaign trail.

And if you need any more proof of that, then check out JOWST’s remix of “Good Vibes” — Nathan’s reggaeton single released last September.

The re-mix dropped earlier this week and already has us thinking about the Iberian heat we’ll experience this May in Lisbon.

“Here’s a treat for you guys!” an excited Nathan wrote on Instagram to announce the track. “My super talented mate @jowstmusicand his friend @are_n did an amazing #remix of my song #goodvibes!”

It’s no lie. JOWST’s mix retains the happy, tropical feel of the original while making it somehow lighter and bouncier.

JOWST was thrilled to work his magic on the track, writing on Instagram that he hopes “you get them good vibes with it.” Mission accomplished!

He had plenty of nice material to work with: Nathan’s funky track stepped away from his Eurovision song, showcasing his ability to get your head bobbing and to work with a chilled out beat.

Melding an electric RnB sound with a bit of reggaeton and his instantly recognisable vocals, Trent sings of irrepressible affection for his lover and how her looks and aura give him those ‘good vibes.’ Can we just say: he’s giving them to us too.

Contemporary and radio-friendly, the original version came with an equally bright and cheery video that helped pull summer into the fall and winter. Staged in Vienna’s iconic Prater amusement park, he proves a triple threat, breaking into some seriously amazing shapes as he busts a move. Riding bumper cars, eating cotton candy, teasing his Miss — Nathan does it all with charisma, charm and that adorable smile. Feel dem vibes!

Both JOWST and Nathan have been extra busy of late.

The Norwegian — full name Joakim With Steen — recently collaborated with his Eurovision 2017 partner Aleksander Walmann on the fun track “Talk To The Hand”.

On Monday NRK confirmed that it would be one of the 10 competing songs in this year’s Melodi Grand Prix — Norway’s Eurovision selection.

This follows on from his remix work with Eurovision 2017 singers Martina Barta and Manel Navarro.

Nathan also has new projects in the pipeline.

On Friday he’ll release his latest track “Won’t Let You Go” — a collaboration with Poptracker.

Stay tuned — we’re sure it’s going to get you going…
