Last year he gave Norway its 22nd top 10 placing. Now Norway’s JOWST has released a new video for his Eurovision entry “Grab the Moment”.

Even though it’s already 2018 the Norwegian producer and DJ released the video for his 2017 Eurovision entry earlier this month. But to be fair his entry — performed by vocalist Aleksander Walmann — already had a video. But this new one drips with nostalgia and New Year’s Eve related reminiscence.

And if you like trotting down memory lane this video will surely be a treat for you.

“Grab the Moment” – JOWST (2017 tour music video)

In the new video you can see footage from JOWST’s tour around Europe associated with the their Eurovision participation. The most noticeable events and places you will recognise are Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam and Israel Calling in Tel Aviv.

The video not only contains footage from JOWST’s concerts and various interviews, but also JOWST and Aleksander’s interactions with fellow Eurovision contestants like Belarus’ NaviBand, Denmark’s Anja Niessen, Bulgaria’s Kristian Kostov, Sweden’s Robin Bengtson and San Marino’s Jimmy Wilson.

Not only is the video a great documentation of JOWST’s Eurovision adventure, it is also confirmation that Joakim With Steen and Aleksander know how to have fun and do not take themselves too seriously. It even shows a glimpse of the Norwegians’ sightseeing tours…replete with selfies!

Clearly all those good times have the guys hungry for more. Last week NRK confirmed that Aleksander will compete in this year’s Melodi Grand Prix with “Talk to the Hand” — another collaboration with JOWST.

What do you think of the video? Do you get nostalgic watching it? Tell us in the comments box below.

lmao flops. what makes them think returning after a 10th place finish with a bad song to qualify and win. Dana International – 1st Place ESC then finished 15th in Semi Final. They’re arrogant and don’t like criticism. Blocked me on all social media, it’s fine because you need our votes, JOWST with a horrid personality like that you’re getting none.

I haven’t heard any say Talk To The Hand since 2009, just saying….CHARLA K FOR THE WIN!

That might be your account, but it isn’t mine. I’m a songwriter, and I spoke with Aleksander and Joakim about their song in great detail. Granted, most of the criticism was positively presented, but they were both able to have the discussion very well with me in person. I can’t speak for social media though.

I am sorry but ‘Grab the moment’ was second best song for me (after Amar Pelos Dois) in 2017. I completely disagree with you. It is still in my playlist.

I am probably the one from ESC2017 that answers most of my fans, and the ones sending me messages. You are actually the only one on Instagram that I have ever blocked 😀 why is that? I guess it is the social media way of say Talk To The Hand ?

Stop being so arrogant and precious over your song. Tell you what, if you win MGP and qualify I’ll give 20 votes to you-but it won’t happen??. I guess you not qualifying is the universe’s way of saying Talk To The Hand. Actually, nicer and bigger artists respond to their fans more than you! Nathan Trent, Jana Burceska, Triana Park, Svala-and their songs were actually good and original, unlike yours. Just remember, there’s a reason why you came 10th and didn’t win, your song wasn’t as brilliant as you thought 😉

Aaron, you are entitled to your opinion about the music. However, I don’t feel it is appropriate for you to use Wiwibloggs to call an artist “arrogant” in public conversation. We are supposed to be supporting each other’s creativity in a fun way. If you have a personal issue with Jowst, please take it up with him privately. Thanks in advance. PM

“wannabe drag queen”

lul wut

Anyways, I don’t support people who believe they are a cur above the rest. This is a public forum and so I can (and will) express my viewpoint constructively. Please stop being so precious regarding JOWST and take your “thanks in advance” and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine xx

A disgraceful response. You obviously don’t understand respect, or the concept of Eurovision. If we were speaking in real life, would you resort to violence as well? Terrible.

Were you the dude that said you were disappointed with the song, and then JOWST told you to talk to the hand. https://twitter.com/aar0nnb/status/953383305189232642 It’s not cool JOWST to be talking to people the way you spoke to Aaron, he was just giving feedback and you gave an arrogant response of ‘Our song will win’ https://twitter.com/JOWSTMUSIC/status/953405472698195968, well what if it doesn’t? You are supposed to be role models to people, but instead you are acting like an immature, arrogant teenager.

Yes that is right Nathan. But that was after he published a really bad comment on a video i posted, of a girl who was dancing to one of my other remixes. She was so glad that i reposted that video, and then he came with his negativity, talking about how bad Talk To The Hand was. And that didnt belong there. So i blocked him. And then i saw that on twitter. But it is true though. I do believe that Talk To The Hand will win. I don’t think it is bad to tell people that. I will… Read more »

Haha! I spotted myself in the crowd in their video. 😀
Met them in London. Definitely the most memorable moment of 2017, for me. 🙂
