She relived the glory days with her very first performance on last week’s Dancing on Ice. And Cheryl Baker kept the Eurovision theme going on Sunday night with another Eurovision-winning quartet for Disco week, ABBA and their 1976 single “Dancing Queen”.

While it may not have any ABBA-related choreography, Cheryl took the judges’ advice and included more skating before admitting she missed several moves after the performance. Keeping in with the ABBA theme, Cheryl and Dan Whiston’s outfits were reminiscent of the film musical Mamma Mia!

Unfortunately, the Ice Panel have yet to be convinced and all four judges gave Cheryl a 3.5, adding up to a total of 14.0. Although this has put Cheryl bottom of the leaderboard again, it was an improvement to last week’s score of 11.5. While the judges agreed that Cheryl has improved on her ice-skating ability, she needed to shake off the “barrier huggers” reputation and “stop having the fear of not being with Dan”.

After all 11 celebrities performed their routines on the night for the very first time, it was the public’s turn to have their say and once again, Cheryl avoided the skate off and is through to next week’s show.

This is so dangerous, I would never do it.
Congratulations for people that have the courage.
