Eugent Bushpepa FiK 56 winner eurovision 2018 albania

He briefly lost his throne to Spain. But today, Albania’s Eugent Bushpepa is back on top. The “Mall” singer is your favourite Eurovision 2018 act so far.

Of the 7,841 votes cast, the FiK winner picked up 1,981 (25.26%). And while he might have returned to the poll summit, Eugent shouldn’t get too comfortable. His vote count and percentage share of votes are both down when compared to our previous survey.

Albania: Eugent Bushpepa “Mall”

Meanwhile, Spain’s Alfred & Amaia slip down to second spot. However, the “Tu canción” duo aren’t far behind Eugent. The pair secured 1,920 votes or 24.49% of all votes cast.

Spain: Alfred & Amaia “Tu canción”

Third and fourth place remain unchanged. France’s Madame Monsieur continue to challenge with “Mercy”, garnering 1,604 votes (20.46%). Czech Republic’s Mikolas Josef took in 909 votes (11.59%) with “Lie To Me”.

France: Madame Monsieur “Mercy”

The two new additions failed to make much of an impact. Switzerland’s Zibbz fared slightly better with 723 votes (9.22%) going towards “Stones”.

Malta’s Christabelle brings up the rear. “Taboo” could only muster 704 votes (8.98%)

Wow, people need to chill. These polls aren’t meant to be taken seriously! They are just for fun! I voted for Albania (and I am from the US). I love Eugent’s song and he’s my number one so far.

These polls are ridiculous. But Wiwibloggs won’t do anything because Eugent is giving them some clicks.

Spoiler: He’s not. These polls are completely ridiculous and worthless, when after a couple hours Albania is second to last and then suddenly he’s 1st. So stupid.

It’s because he shares the link with his fans on social media. Every time a new poll goes up, France usually starts out in the lead with Albania last, and then in come Eugent’s fans and Spanish fans in big droves

I didn’t vote at all LOL
I like the albanian entry but absolutely don’t get the hype around the spanish one. It’s so boring it could be swiss ^^

lol best burn ever!

Agree – but am adamant that almost every year Albania changes their song fully – always for the worse, and shouldn’t be in the poll yet

Isn’t it, that Eugent shares the polls and people vote for him, so that’s his fault ? I’m not sure, that’s what people said before

Cool. Good PR then. All the artists should do it. 🙂

Bad PR if it’s pissing off international voters and only amusing his Albanian fans who can’t vote for him anyway.

These polls are basically useless because the Albanian + Spanish fans won’t be objective. You shouldn’t call the polls “Your favourite” as they are influenced heavily by the size of the countries’ fandoms…

At least a few of these Spanish fans are regular reders of the Blog and do contribute at some time or the other!!
The Albanian votes in the last 24 hr of the poll are coming from people who mostly solely come for voting in the poll and never again.

Regular readers??? most were fans of OT that found out about this blog because of the couple. And no, Albanians are not like that.

Kris

The verity of the poll falls into question when an artist keeps putting the poll link on his fan page and only on the last day of voting!!
Same for Spanish fans who turn up on the last few hours to vote!

This polls are not accurate because
1. some fans and singers share the link
2. this is just the bubble, not 200m viewers
3. many vote for their own country, and some countries have more citizens than others

Only Eugent shared the link! What he doesn’t realize is this pisses off voters who are at the edge of deciding whether to vote for him or not!!
I voted for Albania in the first poll but since then have stopped voting for it !
Cause I know he and here I mean the singer ‘Eugent’ directly is trolling the poll.

Oh for goodness sake. Anyone can share a link! If they all PR people were as savvy, maybe the poll would be more balanced?
Blaming an artist for sharing a link is like throwing the baby out with the bath water! Do you want Eurovision and Wiwibloggs to succeed? Then get ALL of the acts to share the poll link on their website. And please, stop moaning.

There’s no problem with Albania. Spain on the other hand…it’s unbearable. All the top comments on youtube are the ones that compliment spains entry. Hopefully things will be more calm after we hear other entries.

Again, more dedicated fans and better PR. That’s not a problem, that’s free publicity. 🙂

My issue is that he strategically shares the link when the poll is about to close. If he wants to build a fan base he should interact with his international fans. Not troll polls.

I consider France the real winners. They hold the top spot in these polls right up until other artists start directing their fans to the site. And I think their song is deserving of the top spot (so far).
