isabell otrebus marta krajowe eliminacje poland 2018

Having made the final every year since they returned in 2014, Poland certainly don’t want that form to end. Their national selection, Krajowe Eliminacje, enters its third straight year in 2018. And this evening, we learned the names of the ten competing acts.

Yes, the months of rumours are finally over. The standout name on the confirmed list is certainly Isabell Otrebus. Isabell was one of the favourite for last year’s Krajowe Eliminacje, ultimately finishing fourth with “Voiceless”.

Isabel confirmed to us back in December that she’d be entering again. It seems TVP wanted to see her back too, as she’s on the list with “Delirium”. After Kasia Mos returned to win, will Isabell be able to do the same?

Another notable name on the list is Marta Galuszewska. Marta is the latest winner of The Voice of Poland, where she was coached by Polish Eurovision star, Michal Szpak.

The two even performed a duet of Michal’s latest single, “Don’t Poison Your Heart” during the live shows — with that song having been rumoured as a possible entry in itself. Will Marta be able to match her coach’s success?

You can see the list of all ten acts below, along with songs (where available):

Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 — Finalists

  1. Saszan – “Nie chce ciebie mniej”
  2. Monika Urlik – “Momentum”
  3. Isabell Otrebus – “Delirium”
  4. Ifi Ude – “Love is Stronger”
  5. Future Folk – “Krakowiacy i górale”
  6. Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer – “Light Me Up”
  7. Marta Galuszewska – “Why Don’t We Go”
  8. Pablosson – “Sunflower”
  9. Maja Hyzy – “Skin”
  10. Happy Prince – “Don’t Let Go”

Krajowe Elminacje 2018 will take place on March 3 at 21.30 CET, on TVP 1.

What do you think of the Polish selection? Do you think that there’s a frontrunner already? Let us know all your thoughts in the comments section below!

So far the only song I actually enjoyed was Love is stronger by Ifi Ude, it stands out, but I’m more than sure that the Polish Cebula won’t even give it a chance.

There’s no song in the final 10 that I liked, such a pity. I only hope that Delirium won’t win, I absolutely can’t stand neither the song nor Otr?bus herself. She’s not special in any way and probably wouldn’t bring us a good place in Eurovision, but people are going nuts…

I must say this is a strong group this year for Poland! To the point where I like most of the songs that are available for listening thus far!

Isabell’s entry is really crappy just like last year, just pure amateurish, hope Poland won’t choose something like this.

I’m so disappointed. Poland really HAD some great songs sended as proposals this year (my personal favourite was “All About Us” by Marta) but jury – again – made some riddiculous choices…
As I liked “Voiceless” last year, I find “Delirium” boring. I have bad feelings about our national selection, and it’s because of the jury and unobjective fanbases.

Voiceless was so much better!! Delirium doesn’t have a sing along quality and has no chorus! Like why are fans being delirious over it? I don’t get it

Gromee and Isabell – they are the best – Delirium is quite good song, also Gromee other songs like Runaway or Spirit – I am sad Marta Galuszewska is not singing together with Michal Szpak Dont Poison Your Heart ….. thats the bigest disappointment……. but her record agency didnt agreed……

That Isabell girl’s song is absolutely horrid. I’m kinda sad Michal didn’t submit Don’t Poison Your Heart, it was a great song. Excited to hear the rest!

Voiceless was equally bad… that girl is literally voiceless, she should stop doing these…sort of remixed Sia-esque songs I’d say? and go for something more suitable for her limited range.

Well that’s your opinion but I liked voiceless and the jury in Poland agreed! Also I’m talking of the song and not singer.

Only Gromee!! The best producer of dance music in Poland. He could have make a very good pop song as “Heroes”, for example. Only listen to “Without You” or “Runaway”.

Delirium sounds awfully like Euphoria to me. I like Love is stronger, its different than the rest. I wonder what Gromee will come up with, but Im afraid Lucas voice is not doing much. Can’t wait to see the rest.

First off I’m disappointed that Carmel did not try out this year? I’m not really familiar with the Polish music scene, but I seriously hope that this list does not feature some random friend of the jury members like Rafal Brzozowski again. shudder, this crap ended up in 2nd place last year. Love is stronger stands absolutely no chance. The Sasza song is still not the Eurovision version as it is 3:34 minutes long. Otherwise, and okay entry, certainly nothing you’ll qualify with, but still okay. Out of the three songs the only possible Eurovision finale qualifier would be Delirium.… Read more »

I am disappointed that Clodie with the song “Go!” didn’t make it.
I’m 99.9% sure Marta’s “Why don’t we go” is the English version of “Nie mów mi nie”

Why Gromee is not going with “Without You”? It’s so good and already a big hit in Poland.
I hope the new song will be better.
